Impossible to get a hold of, impossible to speak to anyone, as a kinesiologist, I can confidently say I have zero support from the college. Unfortunately there is nowhere else to go for us.

Response time is very very slow and communication is poor. There is little to no support for it's members overall. High membership fees for zero in return. Even during a lockdown when members needed questions answered, they showed very little priority for anything.

If I could give negative stars I would give it a negative 10! This organization is absolutely highway robbery and the provides nothing for your membership. lack of communication and organization is so bad there should be a regulatory body that I can report them too. The cost is nearly double what other professional organizations like OT and PT. On numerous occasions I have heard completley conflicting information from their assistants. By the looks of their staff directory information, I don't think a single person there has ever practiced. It's taken over a year to get registered with back and forth emails. For the cost of registering, you should get a discounted liability insurance rate. What a joke! Colleen and Lily should be ashamed at there lack of professionalism and organization.

Kinesiology being a new profession is currently underpaid, there is no initiative done by the college to address this. The fees are waaaay too high for membership and it feels like a money grabbing scheme. I loved to be a kinesiologist but the amount of money per year that you have to spend on College registration + insurance + kinesiology alliance registration is insane compare to minimal wage that kinesiologists are getting paid right now. The average salary of kinesiologist in Ontario is 22 per hour! For that you have to complete a 4 year Honors BSc + training and hands on experience. Instead of making Kins life more hard by subjecting them to ridiculous fees the College should raise public awareness about the profession of Kinesiology and its potential relief on public health system that could be achieved by preventative/lifestyle measures that Kinesiologists have to offer as well acute treatment options that kinesiologists can offer until these are in place I vote half a star. Again I loved what I did, and sad to I had to move on from being a Kin!Peter. (Used to be a Kin)

A great regulatory college for kinesiologists with wonderful and extremely professional staff that do an outstanding job in helping kinesiologists with their registrations and other things. One such a staff is Lisa Groten among other wonderful staff, who does an outstanding job in taking care of Kinesiologists' s administrative needs. She truly is an amazing staff. I wish her ever lasting good health and success throughout her COKO's administrative career. Keep up the good work Lisa!

Lisa at COKO has been such a blessing! This small organization works tirelessly to uphold the Kin standard of practice and it truly shows. The game changer for me was when she said 'Anything you are unsure about, just call me. We're here to help!'
