CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver

I had such a wonderful time. I was given a gift card to visit and it didn't disappoint! I felt relaxed and welcome from the moment I walked into the space. The waiting area had snacks, tea and fruit infused water. My technician Kiah was informative, kind and made sure I had a wonderful time from start to finish. Thanks Kiah! I would highly recommend as a way to truly treat yourself.

Had such a lovely time at Chi Spa! I made an appointment for a one-hour sangre de fruta massage very easily by emailing the spa. On the day of, I arrived an hour early to my appointment and was able to access their other amenities like the outdoor pool, hot tub and fitness centre. The locker room is well equipped and even had a sauna in the women’s changing room.Really enjoyed the hot tub pre-treatment - it was cool being in the heart of downtown while getting some rest and relaxation. About ten minutes before my massage time, I got ready and was served some amazing ginger tea before being led to the massage room.Yuko was fantastic. There are a few individual massage rooms, and even a couple room. The room was again very relaxing and well equipped with its own washroom, shower, robe, etc. The sangre de fruta products were so great and the oil and body butter used made my skin so soft! Really appreciated the small touches, such as a hot towel at the end of the massage and a cup of tea and snacks.

I got a giveaway to enjoy Suit Spa experience.I thought that we would be able to enjoy all the facilities inside the spa.Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not included. Duration of the whole thing was 2 hours which includes 60 mins massage + collagen mask, shower, 15 mins steam (sauna sesh), and 45 mins just to “chill” inside the room.For $345, I think it’s absolutely not worth it.

Visited for the first time, and was very impressed. Staff was friendly, kind, and professional. Atmosphere was relaxing and clean. If you need a relaxing massage highly recommend.

Anna and the rest of the crew were awesome! My Fiancé and I were welcomed with open arms and great tea while we waited for the massage therapists to arrive and take us to the private couples' quarters. The Spa staff accommodated everything for our comfort and relaxation. We had full body 60min personal treatment massages along with collagen face mask treatment as the add on in a couples massage private setting. We were recently engaged and the Spa gave us a beautiful gift as well. Our relationship got the required rejuvenation it needed, and we were refreshed with the amenities such as the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room as well. The only thing I wished was different was the Men's changeroom had the Sauna, and the Women's change room had the Steam room which was inconvenient because I prefer the steam room and did not have access to do it with my Fiancé. Other than that, everything was smooth.

Got a Signature Aroma Vitality package for me and my bestie for her birthday and it was such a treat! Staff welcomed us and explained the process really well since it’s the first time we’ve been there! Package came with hot tea served before and after service, aromatic steam in private spa suite, full body massage, and collagen face mask(add on). Also spa guests are welcome to the hotel’s amenities like the jacuzzi, pool, steam room and fitness centre pre or post spa service!We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

If you plan to buy a spa treatment as a gift with the CHI, beware that it might not be as easy as you would expect it to be. I originally booked a treatment for my Mom as a Christmas gift. I contacted the staff to inquire on pre-paying and told them that this was a gift, I received the email link to pre-pay, and received the email confirmation for my successful payment. Then after the spa treatment, my Mom was asked to pay for the treatment, when I had already done so. At the time I was unavailable to email my Mom the payment confirmation email, so she paid for the already paid for treatment. We later contacted the spa and their staff about the issue. They said they could pay us back in around 5-7 business days, and neglected to mention the option/possibility of immediate credit to the credit card, until we asked about it. For a spa with the rates that they do, you would think that they who not only take better gifting system, but would have noted and kept track of your pre-payment.

Excellent customer service. It looks just like the pictures. Very fancy and sophisticated. They have a small swimming pool overlooking the Keg, Sauna, and Gym is well maintained. It’s pretty cool place to chill and spend your whole day in quiet with multiple options so you don’t get bored.Must try it once (:

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Shangri-La for our 10 year anniversary. We had Joey and Takako for our massages and they were absolutely amazing. We will definitely coming back and recommending them both! Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful massage Joey and Takako!!

I had an excellent experience. My technician, Ayeshe, was brilliant and her and the team made me feel very cared for. I definitely want to go back and would recommend the collagen facial. Thank you for a superb time!
