Hip hop dance class

A fantastic place to learn to dance. I was visiting family in Toronto for a few months and wanted to learn some new styles of dancing. I found the Directors Caroline and Bee to be knowledgeable and informative and as I soon found out great dancers as well. They suggested a plan for me to follow while here including a mix of private and group lessons. The studio has an exciting vibe, the staff are enthusiastic and I learned more than I expected. I also saw a few wedding couples successfully learn their special dance as well. Best of all it was fun! Highly recommended.

This is such a lovely little dance studio. Our 4 year old daughter asks when her next class is everyday, and the older dancers always look so happy to be there too.

The teachers are great with the students and my daughter love dancing for the school, she's more confident since joining Debroah Thomson School of Dance.

A creative, supportive, totally lovely environment! My kindergartener has zero dance experience but expressed interest in trying out dance. We signed him up for a week-long summer camp and it was one of the most positive experiences of his life. He's been to multiple daycares, schools, and camps over the years, and this was probably the best experience he's ever had in any group setting. He told me that Miss Liliana helped him feel not shy"

I signed my daughter up for a trial a little while ago and just4dance hip hop classes. teachers are fantastic, they made it very easy to register and pay, daughter has a lot of fun. easy transition for someone with no dance experience.

I cannot say enough about Maple Academy of Dance! Our family has been with the studio since 2006 and have had all three of our girls attend for their dance education. They have formed many strong bonds, lasting frienships and pushed themselves to be the best that they can be thanks to the many wonderful teachers that teach there. The teachers and studio director are fabulous and honestly teach with their hearts. They care about all the students and push them to reach their maximum potential not only as dancers but as people as well. I couldn't be happier! If you want the best in dance education and another home for your child- you need not look any further!

Neither me nor my future husband were dancers and my future husband was very hesitant, but after one class with Christifer we were sure we wanted to continue to learn. We did a 5 class package to learn our first dance and had a lot of fun and were able to de stress from wedding planning and other life stuff through laugher and movement. But the best part was we are confident going into our first dance that we have something solid.Bonus - practice days are a great date night.Would highly recommend if you are at all considering doing dance lessons to go here, we will definitely be back!

Dear DP Staff,I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all of you. I have been dancing and continue to dance at the studio for 9 years now and I never regret it. When I come to dance I know I am in safe hands. I know all of you truly care about my and others success. You make everyone feel so welcomed, and you train us to be well behaved, talented, strong, employable dancers. There isn’t a time where I feel that I don’t want to come to dance. Dance is a place where when I walk through those doors I can let everything out and clear my mind. The studio has made me a better and stronger dancer and I can’t thank any of you enough. I have been coming to Joel now 4 years now. I've been to many different Zumba classes but I can say that without a doubt that Joel is the best I have ever been too. On top of being a phenomenal Zumba instructor the classes are intense and fast paced. Not only are Joel and Jovi very welcoming to new comers the regulars at the class are as well. I did feel out of place they welcomed me with open arms like I have been there for years. If you're looking for a good work out and good friends Zumba with Joel is the place to be.
