Fishing charter

Tough bite out there but the guide didn't help. Caught one fish all day, went deeper but didn't stay the depth that we caught at... On his phone most of the time. Not comfortable for the guests. I asked what he'd fish for if he had a day off with perfect weather and he said he'd sleep in and never fish on his days off. Doesn't seem to enjoy it. Just being honest.

I've been slow to post this review, and I apologize for that beacuse this was AWESOME.We took our dad our for his birthday and did the 10hr Gulf Islands trip with Guy on June 15th, and had an awesome time. 4 guys with zero (ocean) experience showed up (us), and everyone one of us landed fish.. I think we caught somewhere around 15-20 fish that day!Dock was easy to get to, the ride was great, the fishing was a blast. We were only able to keep the one hatchery Coho salmon that we caught, but we also had success with the crab traps and ended up with a pretty good feast back at the marina.We really had an amazing time, and look forward to coming back out and doing it again!Thanks bunch Guy, see you again sometime!

I joined the ice fishing tour with Sherif and it was an unforgettable experience. We experienced from how to judge the environment to learning how to fish, and Sherif led us step by step. I strongly recommend Sherif’s ice fishing itinerary, he will not let you down.

Great crew, great boat and just an all around awesome time on the water with the guys. Went out for a half day charter, maxxed out on Coho and had some fun on the catch and release side too! Leaving from Pedder Bay was a stunning spot, the scenery was second to none. Was very impressed with the environmental appreciation these guys had for the area and the industry in general, great to see folks out there doing their part to strengthen an incredible sport, being smart about their surroundings (we stopped to get some plastic out of the water at one point) and having fun doing it at the same time. Would definitely recommend Rodfather and will certainly be looking for an excuse to get back on the boat with these guys :) Thanks again guys!

Had a great day out with Matt and even with some tough weather conditions he made it an amazing experience.Caught some great sized chinook and learned a great deal about salmon fishing too.Highly recommend and would definitely consider returning back when the chinnok can be retained!

Cute. Stunning lake, especially at sunset. Staff was really friendly, helpful, and laidback. I wasn't there for fishing which I gather is most of the clientele. Sites are really close together so although it's a pretty secluded spot once you get to the grounds it's pretty tight. We rented a cabin and the interior was log cabin cute, clean, stocked amenities, wifi, and satellite tv. Hanging light strands around the site were a nice touch.

Mike is an AWESOME guide! My son Paxton and I went on a trip with Bear Bones in October as my son’s birthday present. We wanted to find someone that could put us on some great walleye - and Mike put us on some awesome fish!!! Not only was Mike super responsive in the lead up to the trip - we knew everything we should bring, what to expect, where to meet - but on the day of our charter Mike had thought of everything. He’s super prepared, has an awesome boat, great gear, and locked us in on some good fish in no time at all. We made some incredible memories that day; left with a stronger full of walkeye, and my son even hooked into a big Muskie that put on a show! Hands-down we would charter with Mike again. Highly recommend. Value for money, you won’t find a better guide, and he’s an even nicer guy! Wishing you tight lines!

Book with Captain Ron and Seaking Adventures. A group of us went and had the most amazing time. Captain Ron gave us a real tour. He took us to see some old light houses, talked to us about the history of the island and answered any questions that we had. He is also amazing and finding the whales. We saw a bunch with him. His prices beat everyone else and will give you an adventure you wont soon forget. We were very impressed.

This is a fantastic place to bring the family for some rest and relaxation and fun. We had a very good time. Cabins very great and service was top drawer. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The fishing was extraordinary!!!! We limited out every day.
