I've fished with Captain Al at Motor City Charters several times, it is always a pleasure. He is a real wealth of knowledge and has the tools to get you on fish. Whether you're a first-time beginner or a seasoned fisherman, I highly recommend!

Captain Al was great! Knew right where the fish were. Caught our limit in only a couple hours. We just showed up and everything was taken care of. Was a fantastic experience and highly recommended!!

Booked a half day walleye charter with Al! Every aspect of the trip, from the expertly maintained boat and equipment to hand made jig heads, were everything you can hope for in a walleye charter. A true professional!His knowledge of fishing is impressive.Can’t wait to book with him again!

My friends and I went out walleye fishing with Captain Al and had a great time. We were mostly novices, but he had everything set up and we were catching fish in no time. Overall, I'd highly recommend Motor City Charters and look forward to getting back out on the water with them again!

Went out with Captain Al in April, it was a great time. He worked with my daughter and made sure she got the jigging technique down and then got us on the fish and got my daughter her first Detroit River walleye. Top notch equipment, boat was awesome set up perfectly for jigging the river. After we got our fish and were done for the night Captain Al cleaned our fish and bagged them up for us. Can't wait for next year will be booking with Motor City Charters and Captain Al again!

Best fishing in the Metro Detroit area. We had so much fun with Captain Al and caught a ton of walleye. We made the best fish tacos I’ve ever had that night. 10/10 if you want to fish this is the spot.

My wife and I spent the day fishing the Detroit River with Captain Al. He was very knowledgeable and we were catching fish all day. The boat was very comfortable and Set up perfectly. We enjoyed some great views and the fishing was fantastic. We can’t wait to go back out this spring!

Awesome. The whole experience was awesome. Al is so knowledgeable and skilled. He is super fun and personable and makes you feel very comfortable. He'll move around if the bites die out. He teaches proper techniques. He just wants you to have fun and catch some fish. Then...he cleans your fish for you. We couldn't have had more fun on this charter. I highly Highly recommend you book with Al at Motor City Charters. 10 out of 5 stars.

I usually don't write reviews, but after taking my family last spring and rebooking for the April, I absolutely felt compelled to. Capt. Al was amazing. Easy directions, patient with the kids, and couldn't ask for a better day on the river, far exceeded my expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Went out with some friends and Captain Al is hands down the best out their. He is extremely knowledgeable with the area and landed us right on top of them. I highly recommend them and can't wait till the spring to book another trip!
