Walmart Supercentre

I put in an online order a very specific food order all gluten free, no choice is you know! I figured this should speed things up well I waited 10 min to see a cust service person an additional 15 min to have someone bring me the order, then being approached at the 15min mark and asked to now drive around back, he then asked would you like me to bring you your order here which is what I was expecting as I wasnt instructed otherwise..so 10 min later he shows up with 3 item not avaiable and one item replaced with another, I get home the item that was replaced isnt gluten free. So my experience was a joke ... I wont be leaving anymore reviews as I wont shop there...there are other options...good luck.

Accuses costumers of stealing and continues to harasses customers when they prove they were not stealing. Will follow you around and harass you till you get mad then throw you out because you got sick of their harassment. Then managers will side with employees even if there is video footage proving your innocence. Real bad customer service would never suggest to anyone to shop at Courtenay Walmart unless you want to be labeled a thief for no reason at all.

I go there once a week every friday morning to get my groceries. There is some food there and I like the self checkout that keeps me away from the lineups.

I was happy at Walmart today as someone handed in an item that I must have dropped in the parking lot. Thank you so much for doing this whoever it was. Walmart staff were polite and helpful. A young man with a broken hand/finger. Give him a raise. He deserves it as do the rest to your staff.

Only two traditional tills rest are self check out. Only way out of store is through a till so passive aggressive way of trying to force you to buy something.Employee tried to forced me through a self check out because I only had a few items ignoring my statement that it is a personal choice to not use self check out and do not have an issue waiting for regular till.

I never write reviews but my recent experience with the photo centre is robbery basically! I ordered photos online to be ready in 1-2 days for my daughters school project and that was in February. They still haven’t printed them at it’s almost May!! I called a week after I ordered them after going into the store twice to get them for them not to be there. They just say someone will get back to me and nobody ever does. I want my $80- back. I will NEVER shop here again! Never order photos online from them EVER!!

For such a huge hypermarket they had THREE manned checkouts with long lines and loads of self-checkouts which were under used. Walmart - when are you going to get the message that people don't really want to use self checkouts? Just to save a few dollars! There were plenty of idle employees milling about too! Not sure how they were occupied. I gave 2 stars but that's being generous. From now on it's Superstore for me. They have manned checkouts. ☹️EDIT - 9 months later (26-03-23) - I dare to return to Walmart hoping for a better experience. Mostly positive but I bought two loaves of White Bread from a stand that said 2 for $5" - so I took two. I just opened one and it's stale bread - not mouldy but stale. I guess it may be another 9 months before I go back to Walmart. They don't throw away stale bread

I love the cosmetic counter mainly because they carry quite a few cruelty free products and have good prices on them!Keep up the good work. And they are recycling used beauty products and bottles etc. I had a wonderful clerk help me find an eyebrow pencil other than the one I was looking for (ELF skinny pencil, I purchased an Annabelle one that is super! I've shopped at the Walmart in Courtenay for several years and this review is in recognition to Cindy Shaw a sales associate in the cosmetic department.Cindy has always addressed even the most trivial questions with genuine courtesy creating an exceptional guest experience.
