Don't let the name fool you! A shack it is not! The accommodations are outstanding: very open concept, high-end products, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. As soon as I walked through the front door, I was amazed at how many details were considered during construction and then during the decorating phase.As fantastic as the building is, the customer service takes the experience to an even higher level! When I asked for several special requests, not only were they agreeable and enthusiastic, the requests were met beyond the original expectations! To add to that, the owners and staff had volunteered their own services to help out in ways that only close friends and family members would and their generous offers were accepted due to their sincerity while making them. To top it all off, an added surprise was provided near the beginning that set the extremely positive tone for the remainder of our stay.Somehow they managed not to make you feel as though you were a paying customer; you felt like you were close family to them. Because of this, it was almost difficult to imagine that we hadn't even met until this memorable booking.I have been a guest in many hotels/motels and received a range of customer service as one might expect, but this is hands down" the best. Even though I understand that it's impossible to have the ratings unlimited for obvious reasons

La maison est très jolie, spacieuse et silencieuse. C'est un pur paradis pour ceux qui aiment la nature. La vue depuis le (très) grand salon est juste à couper le souffle. Je pourrais rester des heures à regarder dehors. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et gentils. Ils feront tout pour vous faire sentir à l'aise.Bref, un très bel endroit que je recommande.

Located in the heart of the tiny town of badger nfld, was an unexpected surprise. Don't be devised by the outside look of a business building. Once inside you will be stunned. Huge open concept kitchen and living room, three separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Immaculately clean, and we'll stocked. It must have been an old nightclub renovated to be a place to rent. I am very impressed. Very near groceteria, pathway, gas, restaurant. Highly recommend.

Excellent clean place, Ideal location for groups or couple's, located near the Newfoundland T'Railway and great for snowmobilers or atv'sHost was excellent and went out of her way to meet our needs, pantry was stocked with brand name items and every bathroom was equipped with everything you would need. Great job....Definitely will be back

This is no shack! Three bedrooms, 2 roomy full bathrooms, and a huge open kitchen living/meeting area....backing right onto the trans NL trails. Forgot some essentials? No problem here....toiletries and kitchen essentials are provided for your convenience. Not enough space for everything the Rivershack offers....you really have to see it for yourselves.

This place absolutely rocks!!! Some friends and I spent a few days snowmobiling in the area. The place is spotless, modern, and spacious and it has all the amenities you need. Its location is awesome for snowmobiling as you can leave your front door and hit the trails... Forgot to bring something??? Don’t worry, chances are they have it if not the owner will go out of her way to ensure that you have everything you need to have a great stay. If you don't feel at home here, you won't anywhere! I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

A group of 8 of us stayed for a night after a drive from Howley over the T'Railway. Convenient location, only about 200m from the trail. The price was very reasonable considering the size of the lodge since we had the whole place to ourselves; the place is huge. Clean and comfortable, lots of room to stretch out, full kitchen and a barbecue in the back. Restaurants within a few hundred meters if you don't want to cook. Washer and dryer, plenty of towels and 2 baths came in handy after a cool damp ride. Internet not the fastest but certainly serviceable and free! Definitely recommended!
