Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Estevan

Average hotel. Clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was fair but I’ve been to hotels with better. I wouldn’t be scared to stay here again but I would probably look for a better choice if that was possible

We wanted to love this hotel. The first time we came they told us they did not have connecting rooms left when we arrived. A week later, we returned. This time we called ahead of time to book our two rooms. We asked for connecting rooms. We were told they put a note on the reservation. To book with calling it cost more than booking online. We just arrived tonight. There was NO note on our reservation and once again no connecting rooms. Due to the age of our children, once again my husband and I have to sleep in separate rooms.

Tried this hotel on the recommendation of a colleague who resides in Estevan and I am very thankful for the recommendation as the hotel certainly doesn't disappoint!The rooms are much larger than I thought they would be. The hotel has it's own in-house restaurant and although the menu is somewhat limited, the food is quite good and very reasonably priced. The patio is amazing!As with almost all my reviews, it's the staff who make or break the customer service experience. I found the staff here to be phenomenal - willing to go above and beyond to ensure a stellar experience!It was a pleasant surprise to stay here and I look forward to many more. If you find yourself in Estevan, this is the place. Just loved it.

For an Executive Director suite it was small and expensive. No lamps in the room only bright overhead lights.A few of the front desk people were quite rude..and we stayed for 5 days.Best part about the place was the pool with the water slide and the free coffee downstairs.

Overall a good experience. It is pet friendly but the pet fee is a bit much. $25/dog. (Our dog is 11 and only sleeps usually). We booked it because it was pet friendly and the hot tub. But the hot tub was not working when we got there which the website did not say at the time of booking. That was sad after an 8-hour drive. Honestly that alone would have made me want to book somewhere else at the time. The rooms are okay.

I travel a lot for work - This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at for under $150.00 - Very friendly staff, very informative, offered all incentives, has on-site restaurant, pool, nice rooms with a big TV, and a water bottle at check out. Thank you so much Microtel - I'll be sure to stay here everytime I come to Estevan. 6 Stars!

Hotel is beat up. The rooms need maintenance repairs. Carpet needs replacing, it is showing wear from years of use. Light lens above the bed was starting to fall.Bed was comfy. Heater worked very well.Breakfast was bagged eggs, sausage patties(yew), yogurt, muffins(banana only), bread for toast, dry cereal, coffee, and tea.

I’ve been a regular customer here for the last year and a half. I stay from 2-3 times a month and I’ve got to know the staff well. I’ve got a back issue and I find the beds are much better than the other hotels in the area. Staff are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and modern.
