It’s a small place but the food is amazing. The service was great. This is a nice restaurant that I’d do to for a date or something. Very tasty food and affordable. It’s hard to find great tapas in Edmonton, therefore this place is a gem.

Bodega on 124th hosted our small wedding reception in October. The experience was incredible. Staff went above and beyond (shout out to Laura who we communicated with). The set up for the evening was incredible, they worked with the florist to ensure it was set up the way I wanted. When I walked into the restaurant it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. They helped us pack up leftover food and all the decor at the end of the night. They held everything overnight and the next day a staff member even helped carry everything to our car. The food, wine and cocktails were perfection. All our guests raved about the food (especially the lobster risotto), and multiple people even stated it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding! We will be making the trip to this location from Calgary as often as we can!

Calamari- Perfectly cooked, has a spicy bite to it, really good sauceSalted Cod fritters- mush ball of deep fried COD looks overcooked, grow on you as you eat themPork belly- sauce is good, has a crisp bite to it, tastes like pork lol a little dry, more sauce neededSalt spring mussels - big loaf of bread with it, sauce is really good, smaller mussels are a little overcooked but still good and the mussels are huge!, bread is really good, great with the sauceShrimp prawn - has a spicy kick to it, tastes really good, prawn tast mellowLamb - a little gameySausage with bread - tastes like a bean sauce, sausage was dry, bread was good that comes with itBacon wrapped dates - not very good unless you like dates, sweet, bacon was a little burnt, can't taste the cheese

One of the best meals I've had literally in a year, and that includes having been to several food festivals and travelling around 4 provinces in a best of Canada" road trip. While the Salt cod fritters were ok

Had my girlfriend's birthday celebration last Saturday.First of all, the special basement dining room was beautiful. It is decorated similar to a wine cellar which made the experience much more enjoyable.I wish we gotten our waitress' name because she was FANTASTIC! Witty, charming, and above else very well organized considering we had to split the bill 5 ways in a very crazy fashion.Special applause to the kitchen and it's many talented cooks.The charcuterie was exquisite and well put together. the Iberico Chorizo melted in our mouths and was very well seasoned.The freshly made baguettes were perfectly soft with a satisfying crunchy crust.To whoever made the Braised Boar Cheek Tapas and the Mixed Paella you are my hero. The two dishes were an amazing example of proper technique and perfect combination of flavors. The Boar cheek is a must have, the red wine sauce was a fine rich pairing to the pork cheek which easily was cut with a spoon!The tapas rice was soft and crispy with the right seasonings and plenty of seafood!It is hard to find a restaurant in Edmonton that both perfected service as well as dining experience.I will be returning to this Bodega hungry for more.

The taste of meat is greasy, but the atmosphere is very good. The fish is very fishy and unpleasant to eat. Not good for dinner, but good for dating and chatting, a glass of wine each, some side dishes.The dessert is more delicious than I expected, I thought it was just egg tarts at first, but I think I added some of my own creativity, but it is much sweeter than other egg tarts, but very greasy.

On our first night in Edmonton, we tried this place for Tapas. It’s a five minute walk from the JW Marriott so you can’t beat it for convenience.The food was incredibly tasty and the service was excellent. The Portuguese tarts were off the charts great for desert. Make room for this little gem. Everything we had the table enjoyed.

We had a fantastic dining experience for our group of 30 in the private room downstairs. The food was delicious and very fast to come out. Our servers were all fantastic - Dale in particular stood out as being friendly and prompt. Overall a really great experience for a large group dinner.
