Update: Wanted to come back and state that they contacted me and said we could come back to have them fixed. We choose not to but it’s good they offered.My daughter wanted to try this place. Was nice and easy to get an appt and they seemed nice enough(hence 2 stars as opposed to 1). Pamphlet days $40 for full set of acrylic nails. When I went to pay for her nails, which took 2 hours for some reason she said $80! I was shocked. I said it said $40 and she said it’s an extra $10 for the extra length and they used gel polish which was an extra $25. My daughter didn’t ask for gel polish and no where does it say you have to pay extra for longer tips. I shouldn’t have paid and that’s on me but I’ve never been surprised by the price elsewhere as they always tell us that it’s more before they start. The black “tips” she asked for were maybe half done (like the tip isn’t fully painted) and when we got home we noticed missing spots. I messaged them when I got home and asked if she could come back to have it corrected but haven’t heard back (and yes they read my message - the little icon was there). Anyway - we will go back to our regular place and not here again. Too bad cause it’s a nice looking salon.

Really amazing nail salon, highly recommend for everyone! They are super nice and really professional. It was my first time at this place and I will definitely be coming back. Such a beautiful salon, they are incredibly clean with superb safety measures. The nail technicians and receptionist were super nice and gentle. I love my nails!!

Absolute worst customer service & communication!! I got an acrylic manicure by Kim which cost $90 before tip. 2 days later one of the nails broke off. I called and let them know as every nail salon I have ever been to fixes no charge as it’s less than 5 days. The gentleman on the phone says no problem come in no charge. Went today to get it fixed by Kim once again and after she fixes she then told me I have to pay $10. I let her know what the man said on the phone and she basically said that’s not my problem you have to pay. Truly the worst service plus my new nail does not even match my other nails.

Clean and organised nice nail salon.Very professional and friendly staff.THEY CARE about being punctual for their clients and take the time to make sure you’re getting what you came for.I was in for a 9:30am Mani/Pedi appointment today. I overheard the receptionist saying he double booked a technician at 10:00am by mistake due to an error from an online reservation. I could tell he felt aweful and this was going to impact their punctually for the day.As a kind gesture, I offered to come back for my pedi tomorrow, as I knew I was going to be in the area, so that he could offer my spot to the other customer.He was so grateful. So much so that they presented me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers after my manicure as a Thank You gift!This is a true example of how much they care. I got a recommendation for here through a local Facebook group (we are new to the area!) when I asked where I could take my daughter for a mani-pedi during March Break. A lot of places that had online booking were already booked up.So I called Glamour Nails and made and appointment for the next day! When we arrived they made sure we sat together - they have one kids pedicure chair that looks like a kitty. They were SO GREAT with my girl. She has never had anyone cut her nails but me, so they were VERY gentle and kind with her.I got a full set of acrylics, so when my daughters’s mani was done (they have tables of two for pairs of people to go together!) - they had no problem with her seated beside me, quietly playing on her iPad while my nails were being finished. They even had Disney songs playing on the TV!I will definitely be back again to fill my acrylics, and next time my daughter and I need a mommy-daughter mani pedi - we will definitely be returning here.

Long story but this place has a sincere lack of customer service. Do they do a job, yes. Is it enjoyable, no. The salon is cold, I kept my winter jacket on the whole time. The nail tech is rough. I had dip nails done twice. The first time they did a good job, the second time was a mess. The colour was uneven and not applied evenly. My nails were not shaped evenly and neither time were my cuticles touched. I went in to have the dip polish removed and again they were rough. There was a spot that was difficult to remove so she just kept filling my mail down instead of using more acetone to remove it. I now have a ridge on my nail. When I got home there were still a bit of polish here and there. She offered to cut my nails shorter but left them uneven and jagged. Never going back.

Glamour Nails, Orleans, on Tenth Line Rd.I have been going to glamour nails, monthly for the last 3 years.Last week, i called to make an appointment and requested a new service that I hadn’t tried before “chrome”.It wasn’t done properly and resembled a simple colour. I called and was told that I could have it fixed without cost within 7 days.A few days later, I returned for me free fix, AND showed pictures and specified that I wanted pink chrome.When all was done, I got up and headed towards the door as I knew I would not have to pay.The gentleman became very stressed and demanded I pay. I calmly explained to him and another woman that I was here for a fix. They refused and said that I had chosen a different colour. I continued to try and explain, but they were both becoming more anxious and rude.My first visit, I payed 60+ dollars for the chrome.After my “free fix”, I payed 33.90$ and I was explained that this was how much the full chrome cost.So not only did I get publicly shamed and yelled at by people who have done me nails 50+ times before, the price wasn’t even accurate??I then left a detailed complaint and request via their Facebook page (where booking is completed) and received no answer. I called and spoke to a man who had a lot of excuses. They ended up reimbursing me 33.90$.There’s no way I’m ever showing me face there again, too crazy.First pic is the initial “chrome that I was charged 60$+ for and the second was following the fix (and it still didn’t eat)

The quality of this salon has gone extremely down hill. This was my go to spot but lately they have just done terrible jobs with my acrylic nails. They don’t take the time to check that the nails are even or shaped correctly. My shellac polish came off of my nails even after I went to get them fixed the first time. They’re rough with your hands. I left and all my nails were uneven, not filed properly and had bumps in them cause they didn’t file down the acrylic after applying.
