Diva Nails

I have been going to Diva Nails for a very long time. They are kind, respectful and very polite. Their service is outstanding. I have referred many people to them and will continue to do so. If you know about having aesthetic treatment then you will know how to receive it. If not, then inquire and they can assist with providing you the information as to what they do and how. Sit back and relax.

I have gone to this place a few times, but never again. I asked for GEL nails, and they did acrylic... with a gel topcoat. First time I let it go. Second time, I pointed out that they were doing acrylic, not gel... and they insisted it was gel. Hmmm... Gel is gel... not powder. There is no such thing as powder gel, I have researched this! This last time, I had to pay premium to ensure I got gel, and my nails look awful. ALSO... their idea of removal is prying and ripping them off, not doing it the proper way of soaking. (not to mention it's friggin painful!!!) If you want to ruin your natural nails and nail bed, then this is the place for you!I had an appointment, and still had to wait 20 minutes. I had explained to them when I made the appointment that I had to work at a certain time, and ended up being a few minutes late for my job. They constantly leave you to answer the phone (get a receptionist!!!!) and constantly speak in another language (Vietnamese I think) around all the customers, which some people find rude.I also ended up with several cuts on my fingertips... which proved to be very painful when I was cleaning and sanitizing at my job.I know that sometimes the nails they produce look good, and I do emphasize the SOMETIMES... but I honestly will pay more elsewhere.

This is my go to place for a pedicure! Staff are nice and quick. Building itself isn’t super fancy but the pedicure comes with hot stones, foot massage, and lots of colour options. I think the prices are affordable and it’s my go to place for a pedicure :) you can book 2 at once if you want to go with a friend too. Had a pedicure with Daisy she was great!

Went in with an appointment at 3 pm. Wasn’t sat in a chair until 3:45, then left sitting soaking in the foot bath for over 35 minutes before anyone came to do my pedicure. All while my friend was left sitting in the waiting area when I booked the appointment for 2 people. Both getting manicure and pedicure. Then when moved over for my manicure I asked for gel and got acrylic, asked for them to be shorter and was told she couldn’t cut them any shorter…. Then all of my nails are cut uneven and on a slant. Not straight cuts at all. I asked for sparkles just at the base of my nail and she did my whole nail… when I pointed out a bumpy and very sharp mark on my thumb she blamed me for touching it and messing it up… over all not impressed. I’ve been coming here for years and will never go back. Took over 3 hours for a manicure and pedicure.

She did my nails perfect I will definitely be coming back. Definitely worth the money.

I’ve never been treated so horribly before in a nail salon. I made an appointment for 12 and waited 30mins to even get into a chair. When seated I was bumped by 2 walk ins. The same woman went from 4 clients without any sanitization in between. I honestly never write reviews for places but please save your time and money and go elsewhere. I’ve always enjoyed getting my nails done, but never again will I return.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. They wrecked my nails. Be very careful here. You ask for gel nails and they do acrylic and tell you it's gel. They should not be allowed to lie like that. I've found someone who actually cares about my nails and is even cheaper than this place. If they use powder with a liquid on you, that's acrylic. It will wreck your nails.

My family and I have used this business for many years despite negative experiences. However, I quit going after they cut my toenails too short, and I was left with the discomfort until they grew longer. I also found that the staff there were very rough when handling my feet each time I went, and they often cut my feet.My mother and friend had similar experiences and quit going there as well.Recently my grandma went for her regular manicure, and they had cut her finger and made her bleed. She ended up calling to complain the next day due to this causing her pain and injury to her hand. They told her to come back and speak to a certain individual to find a solution.When my grandmother showed up, they told her to come back again as the individual she was told to see was not there. After my grandma stated that she couldn’t continue coming back and that she had things to do, they refunded her and yelled at her not to come back again. Not only was this a very rude way to treat a loyal customer (we have gone there ever since they opened their business), but this was done in front of a business full of other customers.I am so disappointed at the lack of empathy, the carelessness, and just how unprofessional the employees were after someone was injured and just wanted to find a solution.

I went for acrylic refill the lady was wonderful in all honesty but I feel they are dishonest. I told her my choices she advised I go with the powder which initially was told it was cheaper. When everything was done I was charged arm and a leg $65 .57That amount in Toronto I get new pair of nails well done not refill !!!!Also I felt really uncomfortable when they keep have non stop conversations in the language while working on clients I find it quite out of order and disrespectful because such behaviour is prone to discussing Clients even when they don’t understand what you are talking about.My bestest experience was their concern for hygiene I have never seen this in Toronto where you have your own file and buffer and you don’t have to share with another person that was an excellent idea to minimize infections.Other than the ridiculous prices and minimal use of English they do a good job. I will go back if am still around thunderbay.

I'm very happy with my nails! I got jelly nails, sort of transparent. They look perfect and professionally done. I've never had my nails done before and they were great at recommending what would look best, I just let them do their thing, and my nails turned out exactly as I was hoping for.
