Lang Lake Resort

We booked a cottage here for a girls weekend getaway. We drove 5 hours there to be told they double booked us. Mark said he could either get us a motel or send us to a different cottage that was similar to the one we had booked. The experience at the other cottage was HORRENDOUS. We were promised a bbq, fire pit etc and none of those things were there. There were huge pieces of wood in the water with nails sticking out of them and I had to try and keep my lab out of the water the whole time because of it. When I brought this to Mark’s attention all he did was offer me one free night at his resort. I will never be returning there. In my opinion that is not proper customer service. This was totally his mistake and nothing was done about it. What a very DISAPPOINTING experience we had with this Lang lake resort.

Came here looking for a cottage on a lake experience. Totally authentic. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Mark is a great guy very friendly and helpful. Some nice boats for rent. Definitely coming back again someday

Went with family all 30+. Place was exactly what we expected -perfect. Clean, easy to find, friendly helpful staff. Everything worked and there was no issues. Had the 4 bedroom cabin. Rented a boat for the week, was perfect - staff super helpful with fishing suggestions. Will gladly return

Lang Lake Resort is one of those places that should be on everyone’s bucket list. We have been going here for over 30 years and finally in retirement we are able to spend 2 weeks here every summer. I have been very reluctant to comment about the resort as we really enjoy the peace & quiet on this resort and surrounding lakes. But not saying anything about this place is not right. The resort staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable here. The fishing is excellent (hint ask for Mark to guide you to find some excellent spots), scenery is magnificent, water is cool, clean and refreshing, the days are warm but not hot, the evenings are delightful. I could go on & on but will stop here. We want the resort to continue to prosper but we do not want to attract too big of a crowd.

Without a doubt, Lang Lake is a beautiful resort. The cabins can be spacious or small, depending on the units, but they are very beautiful. We were fortunate to stay at Unit 1, 2, 4, and 7 on separated occasions,and I think that Unit 1 is the best. Lang Lake is also known for excellent fishing location. While you have to clean after yourself, the owners are very nice and considered.

This is our fourth time staying at Lang Lake Resort to fish. Beautiful lake and the fishing is amazing. The cottage had all we needed. The only thing missing was a screened in porch but next time we can just bring up ours and set it up on the deck.

Very relaxing will definitely stay again. Great staff. Clean, quiet, cozy cabin with a beautiful view. Stayed for a few days while snowmobiling in the area the trails are beautiful in the area and they have a private trail that connects with the ofsc trails so you can leave right from your cabin. Cabin was well heated, he even brought us an extra heater for the bedroom in case it was needed. Only suggestion is the kitchen could use some new cooking utensils as they were well used.

Amazing view and great owner. We had a cabin for 2 nights. Beaver swam right under our porch the first night. Loon calls. All the little lakes are connected so if ur up for an adventure u can rent a boat and go for hours. Fishing is great and the lake is usually pretty quiet. Amazing spot and only a short drive from grocery and food options. Fantastic price and a great little getaway. Cheers

I have stayed at Lang Lake Resort many times over the years and we have been coming here twice a year. I love this place. The cottages are amazing and always clean. Some of them are recently renovated and feel like new inside. Mark has been really great and very flexible with us. He has accommodated our requests and guided us when it comes to fishing. We have caught very many Bass and Pike here at every visit. The lake is beautiful and the water is usually calm. We like that we can take a long journey in the boat when we feel adventurous and go to Hannah Lake, Walker lake and Bear Lake. Fishing is great in these waters. Ask Mark about the Bass Spot" in front of the cottage. All in all

Great experience, lovely family bussiness.I highly recommend this vacation. The kids caught fish right off the dock great places to hike. They accepted my dogs and treat you like family. Amazing service.
