Had lunch here in May 2022. Didn't plan to be here. Happened to walk by and saw the beautifully roasted duck and pork hung where the chef was preparing the food.Went in and really enjoyed the food. Servings were quite huge. So better to share. Service was great. The place was very clean. But don't know why the basement toilet lights were not working and the wall in the toilet had a lot of graffiti.

With more friends visiting from out of town, we went sightseeing around Toronto and ended up in Chinatown at King's Noodle, a place that I've been to in the past. We kept it light by sharing a Cantonese Chow Mein and a platter with BBQ Duck and Roast Pork. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the other ingredients were very tasty.Overall, the food was good, albeit pricier than anticipated. The service was very efficient and friendly but the restaurant was starting to get busy with their lunch rush, hence their efficiency.3.5/5.0

The first time eating in this restaurant was in the 1980s. The renovation is totally different now. The food quality is fine. BBQ food like the roast pork is good. It is getting quite pricey now, paid $100 for only 4 dishes.

Ordered the braised beef noodle soup. Portion was small, but tasted good. I was still hungry after though. I saw the staff heating up portions of roast meat in styrofoam containers in the microwave when take out orders came through. This is NOT how you run a restaurant. I’ll never return.

Insanely good roast duck and roast pork (the one with crispy skin). My family used to eat this at least twice a week back in NYC so I had to look for some in TO. I was intimidated to order at first my Cantonese is broken (I’m ABC), but luckily they speak English.I ordered half a roast duck, and a pound of roast pork to go. For the duck, the skin was nice and crisp and the meat was super tender and fatty - it was perfect. I liked the roast pork even more though. The skin was crunchy and the pork just melted in my mouth. I am definitely coming back for more!Prices are actually pretty reasonable (but I’m comparing to NYC prices, taking into account the conversion rate as well).

I am glad I was able to come and had the chance to try their foods for few times during my stay in TO. My favorite was grilled duck over rice’s, dim sums, gyoza was amazing and their congee was lovely too, price is so so but service is a bit “straightforward” they accept cash and cards, lunch time in the weekend can be very busy.

Two words to describe King's Noodle - delicious & over-priced. It's the best roasted pork I've had in all of GTA but it's almost twice the average price. The pork fat melts in your mouth. Duck is full flavored. The meats are over seasoned which suits a western palette.I would only go here for the Chinese BBQ as the other canton dishes are average.Service is your typical Chinese restaurant style.Hidden gratuity charge of (10 5%) on the bill which was a turn off. See photo and see if you can spot the sly charge Server left the bill on the table without saying a word. Gratuity charge not mentioned on menu Below the amount my table would've tipped but this practice is predatory; preying on you double tipping. For that reason, I will never dine in here again. I support local businesses that operate an honest business.Overall, food is 4.5/5 but the experience was overshadowed by deception.

Older Yelp review:Last night's dinner. Roast pork on rice. It's the best that I have tried in downtown Toronto. Skin is thin and crispy. Meat is tender and tasty. am not a fan of sauces but theirs is simple yet nice and doesn't have an irritatingly strong flavour.Server is fast and attentive. They are also very clean. They wipe the table after every customer.Price is reasonable.Update:Roast pig on a bowl of rice again. Specifically mentioned that I want it without the sauce. New-found favourite. Also ordered beef egg drop soup. The serving is generous and they put in a good amount of beef, eggs, scallions and mushrooms, especially considering that a regular egg drop soup only has corn starch, eggs, salt and msg. Very filling. We were served by the same lady server is she is still fast, attentive and nice.

Good service.Place is spacious and clean.Stroller friendly space.

I heard this noodle shop has been around for a long time. It was nice to finally try it while I was in Chinatown. It wasn’t too busy during tea time at 2:00pm on Saturday. The shop was decent and clean compared to other shops in the area. The food and service was ok. They have many selections on their menu to choose from. The price & portion was reasonable. If you crave for Chinese bbq this is a place for you.
