Tyndall Market Liquor Mart

I've been coming to this location for years and the customer service is excellent. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the manager was really great when helping me exchange a defective product.

The last 2 times, Thursday, April 6 /2021 being the last time, I've been in this store I've had a unsettling experience with the Manager, Melissa.She seemed reluctant to help me look for the alcohol I wanted and she just acted wierd towards me, blaming me for standing in her way when I'm not a mind reader, how was I to know where she wanted to walk?I don't understand how she became a Manager with her attitude.Perhaps she's in need of coaching? Customer service?

The only reason for these 3 stars is due to the guy behind the glass doing the security screen made me take off my perception glass to confirm it's me. If had sunglasses that are very dark then yes. But perception glasses. This store is the 1st LC store in Winnipeg that has ever made me take off my glasses.I'm ok with giving my ID but I'm not ok with people making up their own rules.Manager do better.

Very nice location, but, maybe to find a better approach to confirming someone's ID. I understand the employees are just doing their job. I'm sure they have issues more often than not. To have the guy at the door look at me, then back at my ID atleast 5 times & just stare at me..because I didn't have makeup on..& continued to look at me with a look on his face, like he didnt believe me. Then continues to glance at my photo & gets me to confirm my middle name...it's kind of offending..At the LEILA location, one employee got me to confirm everything, and I mean everything on my ID. Never have had issue at the OSBORNE/RIVER location.If they are going to go this route, it should be implemented across the board..

Well as usual we need to line up like cattle I remember on a very cold February day there were at least eight people in line and they would not allow anyone in their 12 by 15 ft fauier (entrance). When I was finally allowed in and showed my proper ID I was permitted to enter the actual store. The liquor store at one time used to be in my top three favorite stores, however since the extreme change due to the robbery of five or so teenagers and one hero employee getting hurt all the liquor stores in Winnipeg are this way.Usually, I do what I need to and leave however this time the lady in front of me was asked to open her rather large purse, she refused they made a big scene and they wouldn't even allow her to purchase her items as the escorted her out...very rudely done!The staff is not the most knowledgeable however there is one guy that is who is not there often. The location is convenient for me but I would rather go to Garden City or Madison Square.

Great staff, very clean and friendly environment. If they aren't helping the customers, they are sanitizing and keeping stock up. Been visiting this location for years, always a positive experience.

Good variety of alcohol available most of the staff are nice but they close 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. I was there at 8:55 PM and they shut the doors, the security says once the doors are locked she cannot unlock after few minutes the Assistant Manager DEVIN comes out at 8:59 and says our tills are closed but I still see the customers inside. Worst experience due to that incident I don't think he deserves to be even working as a clerk there.

New security system is a much needed and apposite measure against liquor theft.The employees now atleast are more safe than before.

Very polite staff, they always help when u r confused what to buy. Kudos to Tyndall team.
