No wheelchair access at the rear entrance (where the only parking is). Tried to help my mother by doing her banking as it is so hard to get in the building but they refused and made her come in person. After MANY years of being a reliable customer I expected better. I suggested they make the rear more accessible and the man stated the front is. My mother pointed out there was no parking there and he went on about how it is a historical landmark and scurried back to his office.

I've changed my mind on this location. The management team has gone above and beyond for me. I still think they should increase their hours of operation to accommodate their customers but that would be my only complaint.

Worst customer service, arrogant staff, not helping. Had an experience with Annette Byrne. Never answered and replied. Spent 3 months back and forth to just change the account type. OMG LOLNOT RECOMMENDED

I walked in to this branch to replace my debit card because I was unable to use it for a week because it stop working. I had my valid drivers license and 2 different credit cards along with debit card thinking it is going to be a quick 5 minutes experience (like many times before in many different bank and branches).First thing I noticed branch was empty and door was locked even the sign says open. Someone came and unlocked the door and let me in. I told the teller what I came for she ask a lots of questions and I answered them all. 30 minutes later she called another co worker and questions keep coming. My husband who was waiting in the car over half an hour was curious why it’s taking so long parked his car and came inside. As he walked in he ask me why it’s taking so long. The second lady (Moona Naeem) said to my husband who was asking me question this is a process you need to calm down. My husband said this usually take 5 minutes I did this 30 times in last 30 years what is it that you need to finish your process so we can leave.Moona Naeem said you have to calm down and do what I tell you. I need your wife’s social insurance number or she is not going to get replacement card. I said can you please call the branch manager. Moona Naeem said I am the manager and no one is going to help you. My husband said he like to get my debit card and my id back alone with Moona Naeem full name.We got the id and debit card back immediately but had to ask 3 times for Moona’s full name and then first co worker brought her business card. Not 2 hours surprise business card didn’t said branch manager but senior customer representative. I came home upset because I am paying monthly fee to scotiabank for unlimited transactions and I have to use other cards and honestly she treated both me and my husband like she was some kind of authority figure and we are under her. Which made both of us so upset that I called customer service in scotiabank to close the account. Representative from customer service over the phone was very kind and provided us with branch manager’s name and direct contact number which confirm that Moona Naeem was a lier and freak.I am going to call the branch manager Nicole tomorrow with the hope that no other customer will be treated with such a horrible way...Just to add I am getting my debit card without providing my social insurance number because online customer service representative just ask different questions after I refused to provide and by the way same questions that Main Street branch already asked.October 1/21So I received a call today from Main Street branch of scotiabank. My husband answered the call and he thought it was head office calling regarding our feedback so he pass me the phone in middle of our work day. (We own our business). The person I spoke to he presented him self as a customer service manager. He spend about 20 minutes trying to control conversations and justify the action of his co worker (Mona). I confronted him with the fact that Mona simply lied and he brushed it off..I will not advise anyone to do with any business at this branch as it’s seem like they are trained to abuse the customer.
