The food is incredibly bland. Veggies taste old and it really does seem like the oil is recycled. Everything tastes kind of burnt, too. Meat and veggie dishes have very little meat, and the beef is tough and stringy. Soups are also quite flavorless. All that aside, the service is actually not so bad. But unfortunately, it seems they don't even taste their food. I'm assuming they may have changed chefs, considering how many people praise the flavor. I'm perplexed. Try at your own risk. They also forgot one of our sides, that we already paid for.

Worst special fried rice I have ever tasted. It was as if they added really old cooking oil and stirred it in. Had two full forks, then threw the remainder in the compost container. Warning, think long and hard before ordering from here.

The lunch special is a real deal. $9+tax is for rice, roll, and the chicken with a fortune cookie. The Tso's chicken has really good flavors.

This restaurant is one of the most consistent. Their food is alway freshly cooked, the Portion and flavour is worth every Penny. Highly recommend this place for you next meal.

A nice place that serves good tasting food. Very heavy on the veggies and not as much on the meat, which was a bit of a disappointment, but the flavour more than made up for it. Not much for seating, so we took the food home instead, but there are a couple chairs for seating.

Good food, takeout only, though they have a few seats and tables if you want to eat your takeout there. Very reasonable prices.

While Mei Shanghai does have tables and chairs, almost all of their business is takeout. The food is consistently of the highest quality and packed to keep the heat in. The staff while almost always busy, are friendly. For Stratford's best Chineae food, put their phone number in your own phone so you can call ahead and minimize your wait time.

Very small order for myself but people were very accommodating and helpful food was great. Meal was ready very quickly.

Found the food to be really flavour filled. The portions were decently sized. The food was definetly beyond my expectations. 4 stars only because the rice to meat ratio is not even.
