Access Midwives

Access Midwives handled my pregnancy and delivery in 2019 with my first child and again in 2022 with my second. Their knowledge and care is 10/10. I decided to go with a midwife ultimately because they come to your home after you deliver, which makes things easier. There were also a few times I needed to be looked at close to my due date and they were able to accommodate a room at the hospital for me, which eliminated me needing to wait in emergency for hours. Thank you Simone for delivering my son this past September!

Had our first baby with Access with the Green team and would recommend! Always took the time to answer all of our questions and didn’t whisk us out the door. Post care and home check ins were wonderful. Only downfall is sometimes a call back for questions would take a long time

I had the pleasure of having the pink team (Amanda, Elise, Emma and student Jess). They were beyond accommodating and caring. I had a lot of trauma with my first pregnancy and I was under the care of an OB. The second time around I knew midwives were the right choice. Not only did I feel cared for, but my anxieties and concerns I had because of my first pregnancy were always taken into account. I appreciated the informed consent they gave. Though, I didn’t actually have a midwife with me when my baby decided to make their appearance, Elise was on the phone with us every step of the way and then literally held my hand as soon as we made it to the hospital. These ladies are angels, and I cannot thank them enough for making me feel safe and secure throughout my pregnancy and labour. 5 stars isn’t enough for my experience with them.

I had the best experience at Access Midwives. My team was so wonderful and supportive from my first appointment until my 6 week postpartum visit. They helped me make some very important decisions throughout my pregnancy and made breastfeeding a lot easier on me. Having a newborn can be hectic and my midwives always made me feel so calm and in control of my journey. I wouldn’t have done anything different and I really recommend Access Midwives!
