DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!Businesses that operate by taking advantage of stranded travellers don't deserve to exist.I took my truck here and told them exactly what part I wanted replaced and how it broke. The owner argued with me to the point of getting loud and aggressive, and outright belittling me and my knowledge of my own vehicle. Literally told me that my 2012 was worth only scrap if I wasn't going to let him repair it his way. I obviously then had my truck towed to another shop, who fixed exactly what I asked for and I was driving home the very next day.If I would have given in to his aggressive behavior and allowed this mechanic" to diagnose and repair my truck I would have been out close to $3000 and my truck would have still been broken. Turns out all I needed was a $200 part and 1.5 hours labor

Some of the worst and shady service I have ever received from anywhere. Waited 3hrs for their towing service due to the driver somehow getting lost from a town 20 minutes away, even though exact coordinates and the address were given multiple times and the dispatch seemed like she understood very clearly where we were. After finally getting picked up, driver proceeded to text on his phone multiple times while still driving. He then pulled into the first gas station he saw and told us to pull out $150 in cash for the extra kilometres" which he had to drive because he got lost. After debating back and forth about the legitimacy of this fee as we suspected the driver was just trying to pocket this money

(This is my friend writing this review not me) Hey guys, this weekend I had the best weekend of my life. I went to Shambala music festival, and made countless friends and memories. Unfortunately two hours out from the most spiritual place I’ve ever been our car broke down. We ended up calling BCAA, only to wait 3.5 hours for a tow truck that started 20 minutes away. We had given 3 seperate dispatchers and the driver our exact coordinates, with very specific and exact instructions on how to find us. Including the exact amount of kilometres we were from the last town (rock creek) and the exact amount of kilometres from the next town (Osoyoos). The driver ended up driving almost all the way to Osoyoos before he realized that he had driven past us. That’s when he called and said “if you still want me to pick you up it’s gonna be extra for the extra killometers” at this point we were very tired, on the side of the highway with no water in 30 degree weather, so we reluctantly agreed. Before he took us to our destination he pulled into a gas station with no warning, then proceeded to tell us to get out and grab cash from the atm. Asking for nearly $180 extra. We ended up settling on $125 to get the car released. When we asked for a receipt the driver tried to drive away from us, we had to chase him down and get him to stop. We then spelled out the name 3 times for the receipt, only to find out he spelled it wrong in the end. The tow service is called Granton Motors. I’m asking my friends to please leave them a bad review, they took advantage of us, and the driver was texing and talking on his cell phone the entire time he drove us. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous. (Also on the receipt he wrote the extra charge was due to wrong directions, even though we gave him our EXACT coordinates and directions)

I took my car in last week after having the ride from hell coming back from Kelowna. My steering wheel was shaking and I have absolutely no car knowledge whatsoever. The staff are amazing at Granton! I called first thing in the morning, they took me that day, after looking at the car I was told not to drive it as the tires were really bad. They gave me a ride home and arranged to pick me up when the car was going to be ready! It was ready earlier than expected, the cost was lower than what I expected amd the service surpassed anything I expected!! I am a single woman without someone to fix my vehicle and I felt very well taken care of by Granton Motors, thank you so much, I will tell everyone I can about the exceptional service I received!

Our step son had bought an older ford ranger (first vehicle for him) in Grand Forks being told battery had been replaced. Gas up in Rock Creek had the vehicle not starting - lucky we were following in our vehicle. About 10 km down highway 33 (Westbridge) it turns out to be alternator. Dead on the road! Awesome homeowner allowed us to leave vehicle inn his driveway and recommended Granton's in Rock Creek. They also turned out to be the BCAA Tow Truck. Granton was booked solid but was able to slip in an alternator installation and the invoice was right within the range of what we expected with the part making up the bulk of the bill.Add to this, they made special arrangements for us picking up the truck and paying the bill (weekend).It is nice to know that small business in small town still exists and we will do whatever we can to spread the word about the awesome experience Granton Motors gave to us :)
