They covered the Burl in plastic... to preserve it. You can't see through the plastic. Very sad they didn't leave it to decay naturally as that would be more beautiful to see. Also the area is a massive logging company site...

Pretty neat, found it interesting that it was in the same town as the other worlds largest burl... lolThis burl is clearly larger. However, it is not well marked off the hwy and we nearly missed it, also it is outside of the main hub of the town. It is also right on an active gravel road.Honestly I like the other burl better. But it is best to see both and compare yourself :)

This one is ok. It's been covered by fiberglass to protect it so it loses a bit of effect. Check out the other one in town.
