Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course

Beautiful course, very challenging I definitely got more swings in then my partner being a beginner but had so much fun. It rained briefly but didnt put a damper on it. We showed up no lore than 30mins earlier as suggested 940am as i beluevd my tee time was 10am turns out i messed it up and it was 930am they were very accommodating and we went a paid and were able to start right away. We never felt rushed and almost never saw anyone infront of us. The course is so vast. Would definitely go back, need to get my swing total down.

Great layout for the course but the level of maintenance doesn’t justify the price of the green fee. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all were pretty spotty even in September when they should be prime.That said, a fun round but they seem to be going on reputation a bit at this place.

Great course with beautiful scenery. Was only able to play 9 holes due to the rain but will be back next year to finish the course. Lots of hills and challenging slopes make for an interesting round.

Location was nice and serene! Our room had a nice view of the parking lot and there was a dog barking all night! We had a christmas party there and the halls were nice as was the concert room the bartender Allen was a great guy and was working really hard! The food was good but we didnt eat enough thinking there might be snacks later which there were not! The band they had playing was Dwayne Gretzky and they were good but when they were done so was the fun the music played after was very outdated and random not sure there was even a DJ. We slept in so we missed breakfast that ended at 930 and check bbn out was 11 which we asked to switch till 12 and they were happy to oblige. Our room wasnt the cleanest but I've seen worse. Please clean your washroom air vents and seal around the bathroom tubs and make sure your chair legs are tightened my wife fell off ours in building 10 room 217 I had to tighten it myself. Also remove all previous guests towels from the room. We did not enjoy looking at dirty towels in our closet.

Place has slipped in the last few years. Any greenskeeper would be ashamed with their driving range as the tee off area was all crabgrass. I have never seen a driving range this awful. Some of the greens were in poor shape and it was August. no gps. #1 and #10 holes are very scenic.

To start, the course was beautiful and nicely maintained. The cart path is extremely hilly, so be cautious when driving. Please avoid letting them clean/handle your clubs at the end of the game. She not only dropped my entire golf set on the pavement (chipping all my clubs, in particular my woods, hybrid and driver…), she was completely oblivious when she saw me shocked and checking my clubs (did not apologize). She stood there and waited for me to put my clubs in the car.

Lovely property with lots of space and activities to choose from. I like that it's less than 10 minutes to Huntsville. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Great views.

Played 18holes on Highlands course about two weeks ago and left my rangefinder on the golf cart. One of the staffs took the cart from me for cleaning cause I was almost the last person played for the day. When I realized that I do not have my Bushnell, I called the clubhouse but there was no reported rangefinder found. Still I haven’t heard back from the golf club. I loved the golf course. It was beautifully laid out and well taken care of. However, it is very disappointing that I was not able to find my rangefinder.
