Baba Calzone
A twist to the typical Italian calzone, this place serves up delicious calzones with a Mediterranean twist! We absolutely loved the sultan and meat lovers calzone, packed with many toppings and filled with flavor. The wings here was fantastic, and were not small in size. We also got jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks, and those were good too. The staff Moe was very welcoming and friendly. Only downside is the location as it is somewhat hidden! Check them out, you won't regret it!

My son was craving Smokes Poutinerie, but when we got there we found Baba Calzone where smokes used to be. We decided to try it anyway. We ordered a small calzone a side of fries and a poutine. Food overall was tasty and good.I liked the sesame seeds on the calzone. The reason for the 4 Stars is because while the guy was making my poutine I saw him microwave a mug and then poured that mug on to my fries which I can only assume was the gravy. While I know most restaurants probably do this often it was quiet a turn off seeing it with my own two eyes. The gravy did taste good though.

Always check the daily specials, Had the small mix calzone (Beef/chicken) for $10, fantastic flavour and a very good size for one average person. they have bigger sizes that can be shared. It's overall a Good value and the mix of spices were amazing with a taste you won't find anywhere else in a calzone. This place was difficult spot in the plaza, it's beside the lingerie store in the corner and well worth it, food takes 15 mins to prepare and is very fresh/hot out of the oven. Place was clean. I think they have a lot of potential but need more word of mouth. I fully support this unique and great tasting product and would like to see them expand into Brampton, Mississauga and the rest of the GTA.

Baba Calzone
Really nice surprise. We arrived in town late in the evening and this was one of the only places open. The calzones were delicious and were so big I had some the next day. Made fresh and the sauces were good too. The cashier/cook was really nice, and he had patience! The customer after me asked about 100 questions, down to what type of mushrooms they used. I had the Donair, and my cousin had the pepperoni.

Best calzone place. Bought 2 large chicken clazone on june-23-2023.service was amazing and made it on time as it was requested.Even offered me free drink as a nice gesture from the store owner

Came here for dinner with my wife and 2 year old, and we ordered 2 calzones. My wife got a cheese calzone with some chicken added in (tandoori flavoured) and I got a cheesy Donair calzone which is kind of like a Philly cheese steak in calzone form. The food took about 30 minutes (which was 10 minutes more than what the chef told us it would take) but the food was incredible. Cheesy and very filling, I got a medium and my wife got a small and we both had leftovers still by the end.I will say that though the atmosphere is nice there are only 2 tables, everything else is barstools and high tables, so not ideal for kids really, along with there being no high chairs for children, so it isn’t the best for little kids.Overall I highly recommend Baba Calzone, the food is seriously good and quite filling, especially for the price you pay. And of course everything being halal means it fills quite a unique niche. We’ll definitely be coming here again soon!

I was initially looking for five guys, but they disappeared. This place caught my eye and oh man it's a hidden find. It took a while to get my order, but it was worth the wait.I ordered the daily special, Friday: Meaty Calzone and it came to about $12.I didn't have any expectations since the last calzone I had was from pizza pizza in 2010 or something. The calzone was crispy, packed full of meaty goodness and had two dips. Some kind of aioli and hot sauce.Definitely recommend to anyone that wants something different.

Since their opening in Vaughan, Baba Calzone brings years of experience in their Middle Eastern fusion calzones with their lineup of different flavours.Whether it's the traditional Italian route, or fusion route with donair, it all begins with the freshly prepared dough for the calzones! The dough is nice and airy with enough crisp to support the generous amount of filling for the right dough to filling ratio.The Sultans Calzone is a nice homage to the deluxe pizza fans with lots of pepperoni and vegetables inside the calzone.Overall, Baba Calzone's is a great local spot if you are looking for a hearty meal in the Vaughan Woodbridge area!

Truly a hidden gem. Clean and organized. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Had Sultani Calzone which was super fresh and tasty. 100% recommend to all pizza lovers!
