There were no problems with the installation of the Heat pump, everything went smoothly. The crew were friendly, respectful and appeared knowledgeable. They were very helpful with the orientation to the new unit. I would definitely recommend Shine Energy.

Great experience from start to finish. We dealt with Scott in the early stages and he was great at answering all our questions. The installers were top notch and showed up when they were scheduled to and were so pleasant and friendly. After the installation was complete the team did a great job of cleaning up and left our property exactly as it was before they arrived. What really impressed us was 2 of the young men stayed behind afterwards and went through the operation of the units and how the remote works and were so patient in answering any questions we had. It was a Friday afternoon (St. Paddy's Day too!) so we thought they would much rather get off work early but instead they were professional and showed respect for their job. Great work!

We had a ductless heat pump with 3 internal heads installed. Very quick for the estimate and install date. Guys who did the install were nice to deal with. Our only negative was that the install took 2 days. Started late on Tuesday because of a meeting where employees learned the company had been sold. So there was some justifiable concern by the installers of their future. Didn’t get finished of install until Friday. Fortunately I was able to be home both days or would have been a major problem. Pleased over all, but could have been 5 star rating if we didn’t have the delay.

My wife called for service on our heat pump, details were given. She was told that the firm would call back. No call, ever.PS: the company got in touch and this was sorted out to my satisfactionFurther to the above, Nick came and sorted us out. We're fine now and have changed our rating.Apparently you called and we didn't get the message.

The heat pump installation cost $1560 + tax and took 3 days. However, when I asked (although it was not suggested during installation) for the outdoor unit to be angled towards an open area, they charged an additional $820 (including labor costs of $125 per hour).The heat pump installation felt like a relay race, with each team arriving at their own time to do the work. Unfortunately, nobody bothered to test the system or provide a demonstration. I had to request a manual, which was eventually sent over email.Since nobody took the time to verify the system, the cooling wasn't working initially. I was asked to pay upfront, but after multiple calls, they fixed the issue (a faulty connection). The burden of proof was on me to demonstrate that they had done the installation incorrectly.The owner's comment was extremely racist, as they said, since English is your second language

Had a ductless heat pump and hot water heater installed the same day. The installers were very polite and professional and dedicated with doing their job well. Both installations were completed before supper and they walked me through the use of the heat pump including some personal recommendations and feedback on the best way to use it

I called and received a response within 12 hours along with an appointment that very day. The technician arrived on time, neat, clean and very polite. As work was performed he explained what he was doing and why. Provided some future information and maintenance steps. Best service I have received in a long time from a service provider. I recommend Shines Energy to everyone for their professionalism, no nonsense and pleasant service.

We would highly Shines Energy. From the initial home visit to the completion of installation, all staff members were always as noted above - professional, responsive, on time and we received a good quality product and value from this company. Their communication was always courteous and clear.

We are very pleased with install services and pleasantness of the staff. Shine has great helpers. We were only disappointed that we were never contacted in advance of their arrival with any notice. When they arrived and it was not the worker's fault, we had to make some immediately changes to ensure they can do what is required. Other than that, we are happy with Shine's service and would recommend it others as well.
