The Vista Inn

Had such a great time staying here! Beautiful views, great customer service, extremely clean rooms. Great place to stay in Kamloops, I had a fantastic weekend getaway. New renovations have this place looking 5 stars. So central to everything in town :) I will be coming back and staying here again!

The Vista Inn is centrally located. It’s perfectly situated near all the services I need in Kamloops.The newly renovated room was clean with nice bright linens. I had the best sleep in a super comfy bed.All of the staff were friendly and oh so accommodating. I will see you again.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, I had mixed experiences. The newly renovated rooms had a clean and fresh appearance with a predominantly white color scheme. However, there were some significant downsides to my stay.One major issue was the strong odor of paint that permeated the entire hotel. It was particularly noticeable in my room, making it quite uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a significant amount of dust present due to the ongoing renovation work, which further detracted from the overall experience.Despite these drawbacks, I appreciated the gesture from one of the staff members. When I mentioned the overpowering smell in my room, he loaned me his personal cologne in an attempt to improve the situation. Although the cologne didn't entirely eliminate the odor, I thought it was a thoughtful gesture on the staff's part.It's important to note that the hotel's office opens at 9 am, which can be inconvenient if you're looking to have breakfast before then. I recommend requesting breakfast the night before to ensure you can have it on time. Additionally, if you need to check out early, it may be challenging as the office might not be open. In this case, leaving your card inside the room could be a suitable option.Overall, my stay at The Vista Inn in Kamloops during the renovation period had its challenges. While the clean and white aesthetics were appealing, the strong paint odor and dust from the renovations were significant drawbacks. The staff's effort to address the situation was commendable, but the limitations in breakfast availability and early check-out should be taken into consideration.

I paid more to stay at this hotel because it advertised breakfast. Breakfast" was a grab bag of granola bar

Will be staying here again. The rooms are great, new furniture, very clean, great location. Friendly staff. Fancy Nespresso machine. Haha. My mum & I were in awe with the view from our room. Great little hotel.

We got to stay in a newly renovated room. It was very clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing! We definitely enjoyed our visit.

The staff very friendly and helpful.My husband couldn’t get the tv to work and the fellow came to room to help.No carpet, clean room, great view, comfortable beds and bedding.Loved the quick and easy eat as you go breakfast of fruit, juice, muffin and granola bar!Vista Inn we will be back.Two seniors:)

Great view, nice updated rooms best place I've stayed in kamloops in 15 years. And affordable as well!

As my brother was getting married in the adjacent restaurant, and after reading the mostly positive reviews, I booked here. I was not disappointed. The room was clean, bed was great, TV worked, I had a small deck with a view and I didn't find anything broken. Even the bathroom fan didn't have that typical noisy as hell" motel rattle. Service was great
