I've been coming here since I was in elementary school. The food quality, service and general arua or this place is one of TOP places in all of Metro Vancouver for sushi. I love Tentatsu, thank you for the years of lovely service, food and making memories at this place !

Good service and tasty food. Generous portion and affordable price. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, but a long lineup outside waiting. Better make a reservation in advance on a busy day.

Tentatsu Japanese Sushi Restaurant
I was a regular here for about a year, consistently ordering one of their party trays (Party Tray A) for take out. It was a great deal for the price. Now, under new management, the sushi is noticeably smaller and thinner at a HIGHER price. It still tastes the same but I’m paying about $5 more for less sushi. It’s really disappointing. I understand raising prices but not halving the pieces of sushi in addition to that.

This used to be my go to neighbourhood sushi restaurant a few years ago. Then they started with the supersized" rolls and I stopped going. Thought I'd give them another try last night and sadly was disappointed. First off there were maybe 4 other parties there when we ordered but the service was incredibly slow. My vegan partner waited and waited to get any of her food while my dishes trickled out. It was infuriating as the restaurant filled up. But worse

Good, affordable sushi! It's not special but they don't skimp on ingredients in their rolls like some places. Service is pretty good and they appear to have decent sanitary measures in place. I like their California rolls. Their lunch combos are filling and well-priced. In general, it's my go-to sushi place in East Vancouver for affordable sushi and lunch combos.

Love this place today! Large potion for a great price and a wide variety of sushi rolls and combos to choose from. I ordered a Dinner box combo, deep fried squid rings, and a Dynamite combo. Friendly staff and fast service. will return again to try their other combos.

Tentatsu Japanese Sushi Restaurant
Unfortunately, this place didn't meet my expectations.I ordered their Osaka Combo and it wasn't that good. Tempura didn't have that light and crisp taste, you'd expect from having not over used oil. The soup for their Udon didn't have your usual Japanese restaurant taste.I probably won't be returning, unless they improve on these basic dishes.
