The Middlesteads are fantastic hosts and we enjoyed the peaceful, quiet location. Looking forward to seeing you again! Also close to the mainland with opportunities to view the ships coming through the locks.

Our cabin was dirty. The three bedroom we had was a cubby hole with no bed frame. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Completely overpriced. No hot water. We didn’t stay the third night.

We had an awesome time with our family. We will definitely be back!!!

We absolutely loved our week long stay at the Sweet Retreat, SI and will be going back again!Our family of four was looking for a vacation destination where we could escape from our busy lifestyle and find opportunities to make new memories while exploring nature together.
