Rooms DID NOT look like photos. Bathrooms old, mattresses were really uncomfortable. It was a 2 1/2 star but gentleman at front desk was a very nice man. Photos looked like a totally different hotel.

Stayed here for work. Really nice people, and hard working. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Wish there was an electric kettle/coffee maker in the non-kitchenette rooms but thats OK. Would definitely stay here again!

Not too bad of a place. Price is ok for what you get but for being “freshly renovated” it’s certainly not what one would imagine. Whoever did the renovations could use some schooling on proper carpentry, painting, and electrical as they were all mediocre at best.

CLEAN AND COZY, best motel in Swan Hills.After reading some pretty horrifying reviews for other motels Swan Hills I booked my stay at the Hillcrest, and packed my own sheets just in case. They were totally unneeded! This place is very clean and fresh. And the owners are absolutely lovely! Subway next door opens quite early so you can get breakfast there.

Had a very clean and comfortable stay for a business trip. This motel is very nicely decorated and their great service makes you feel right at home! Very easy to find as it's located right on the highway. Will definitely be rebooking next time as their prices are very competitive!

Our rooms were excellent and neat. Had a great cozy sleep last night. The staff gave us polite manner and bright smiles. Do not hesitate to pick Hillcrest for your comfort and healing stay.The best accommodation in Swan hills or Alberta.* The owner provided Mini Violin Concert for the guests in the lobby last night. It was very touching and beautiful with raining atmosphere. Amazing!

Best motel in Town of Swan Hills, Alberta. Owner moved last September and operating motel since then. Lots of renovations have been done inside and outside. Very clean and very quiet, all the rooms were newly painted, furniture and beds are maintained in very good condition. Owner provides best service to their guests. Fresh coffee, fruits, popcorn and water are free and always ready in the lobby in the morning. Subway restaurant opens in the property 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Hillcrest Motel
Stayed there last weekend with our sledding crew. Our hosts Won and Sophie treated us like family and even brought us some home made Kim Chee Pancakes. Clean rooms, lovely people and a great location made for an awesome stay.
