No one likes to be infront of the camera, but your capibility to speak so clearly to your subjects and direct them in comfort is something amazing to watch. I recently had my yearly headshots done for my business sites. I find this a total chore…until this year. Sherry was able to capture my essence within a matter of minutes. I was so at ease and Sherry was able to capture some beautiful photos. I highly recommend Sherry!!

Sherry was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed! From the first contact, to receiving my boudoir photo album, Sherry was professional and friendly. On the day of the photoshoot, I was very nervous. Sherry talked me through the entire process and I ended up loving the experience. Ironically, my album was delivered to me on my 49th birthday. I am ecstatic with it! The pictures are artistic, classy and beautiful. The whole experience helped me embrace myself exactly where I am right now. So, to all the 40+ year old women out there...treat yourself to this experience, you won't regret it.

Having professional head shots taken can be a stressful experience. But NOT with Sherry! Sherry creates a warm and inviting space that immediately sets you at ease. She pays attention to detail, provides advice regarding colours and type of clothing, and catches those stray hairs that have fallen out of place. I have had the enjoyment of working with Sherry a couple times now. Both experiences were an absolute blast! Sherry will make you feel so comfortable no matter what. She offers advice and tips prior to your photo session that are very helpful. She is easy to contact and communicate with. And her pictures are second to none. I cannot recommend Sherry enough! From our very first meeting with Sherry, we could tell we were in good hands. We are so happy we had Sherry shoot our engagement and wedding! Her calming nature will make you will feel so comfortable and she’ll give you tips during the engagement session that’ll have you all ready for the big day!! The quality of her photos are second to none. I promise you won’t be disappointed❤️

I would not recommend Sherry to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.My friend specifically requested candid photos taken throughout the day and received almost exclusively posed photos. Sherry focused extensively on the list of posed photos made simply to ensure that no family members were missed. Posed photos that were taken had debris in the background that was not edited out. These issues were brought to Sherry’s attention while taking photos and she said they were not in the shot.When sherry was asked to take certain pictures by members of the bridal party she refused and said they “weren’t on her list”. The grooms collar is tucked under his suit in several posed pictures and Sherry did not notice, when a bridesmaid interrupted to fix the issue Sherry was annoyed. The bride reached out to have some pictures touched up more in editing as they had obvious but fixable issues and Sherry refused, blamed the bride for “not sharing her vision” while deliberately ignoring requests made by the bride both prior to the wedding day and on the day itself.The pictures received look nothing like Sherry’s advertised photographs.After reading the response from Sherry I’ll add this: she did not offer to edit the pictures as requested she offered to crop them. Removing something from the background of a photo is possible with digital editing. The wedding venue is very popular in the area and tons of other photographers have no issue producing incredible results there.

This past February, I had my shoot with Sherry, that I had waited over 10 years to finally book. Over that decade, I had paused many times before contacting Sherry for one reason or another (“I don’t look how I want to look, I just had my kids, pandemic, etc.”). Due to health issues and an upcoming surgery, I knew it was time. I wanted to commemorate this journey, and this version of myself.The lead up: Sherry was wonderful to work with. She provided clear communication, details, PDF’s of best practices and tips, a questionnaire and a conversation dedicated to what my vision of the session was, any questions I had, and advice and guidance from her.The day of: I arrived to a beautiful space, had my hair and make-up done, and laid out my outfit options which Sherry help me to figure out what would look best. (the outfit I least expected to like, was my favourite on camera!…as Sherry had recommended)The shoot: I was very nervous, but Sherry is a professional through and through.The shoot was all of the things you hope for on a surface level and so much more. It was fun, I felt glamorous, I trusted in Sherry 100% and she exceeded all of my expectations. She coached me and directed my poses in a thoughtful and sensitive way. My confidence kept building as the day went on- to a point where I felt like we made some really beautiful, raw, magic with the last series of photos.Sherry is a wonderful person, who takes deep pride in her work.There are so many reasons to wait, but I am so glad I finally did it. I won’t be waiting another decade to take the damn photos.

Sherry is absolutely lovely to work with! She is incredibly positive and upbeat, has really great ideas and is very professional. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, (for those of us who are not natural models!), and she really brings out the very best in you. I am so happy with the two branding photoshoots I've had with Sherry, and I will definitely be back! She is the best!
