I just left boz electric after a long argument with the manager. I came in because I had purchased 4 boxes of there illuminex potlights (which were recommended to me)& 8 of them don’t work. The boxes are fine and work when I swap out the working potlights but 8 of them are faulty.The guy kept telling me why wouldn’t you keep the receipt and I told him it’s because I wasn’t planning on buying a product that is faulty. It’s not a pair of pants that you change your mind on it’s a Potlight that you install and leave in your ceilings. He kept being rude and disrespectful. All I needed was these 8 replaced now I’m down about $80-$90 and nothing is being done about it. & not to mention paying an electrician to take the broken ones down & put up the new ones.I will never be coming here again and will go to my other suppliers whom I’ve been going to forever I just figured this was in the area it may be a good idea. (Apparently not)They need to fire this manager or whoever he is and find someone with better customer service experience. 0/0Horrible shopping experience.

Prices are not good as before. Even sometimes they are more expensive than other franchise stores.

Great supplier for electrical professionals. A great selection of all possible electrical ware, starting from light fixtures to a special conduit bending tools. I wish they had a better low-voltage ware selection (only because of that I put 4) but it's not the priority of this company. Everything else is fantastic.

Don't do business here!!!Worst customer service, management does not care for the customer and no return calls or follow up when promised by staff or management.I came in with a sample small bulb that I needed replaced. Unfortunately, what was ordered for me was not the same bulb.The man who tended to me was very polite asked to keep it so the proper size could be ordered and I would get a call back. He took my information on a order slip.I never received that call back and it was February 2016 when this occurred. I had called and was taken care of by a lady who also was very polite and I was led to believe responsible took the info and promised a call back...... No call back.I emailed the management...no response....I called and spoke to the owner expressing all that had happened. He said he did receive the email and was aware of my messages.He got defensive and took the information again. Now, they no longer have the bulb as it got lost and he was more concerned that no one was admitting to loosing the bulb. I left my name and number yet again now it's September 2017 and still no return call regarding my lost bulb or offer to replace it or any customer service outreach to remedy the issue.I've worked in customer service my whole life and as a constomer I'm appaled that this is called customer service.

As an electrical contractor shopping at various supply stores I always return to boz electric. Been shopping here for over 20 years. They have a convenient location, competitive prices, good knowledgable friendly staff that makes anyone feel welcome. The owner is on location and out in the open at the order desk to help customers, not tucked away in an office somewhere. Definitely a 5 star establishment. Recommend all my friends and family to this store.

Horrible customer service with poor management, breaching customer confidentiality and simply ignoring the importance of it!I am super upset with BOZ ELECTRIC as they have no sense of respecting their client and keeping their information private.I have recently opened an account with them and I noticed that I have been charged with two set of prices for the same good. I asked them for the preferred pricing and they have called other people in the industry disclosing my interest in better pricing, “Asking the other client for permission if I Can get the better price or not”! Don’t you guys have a manager in place to ask for permission that you have to go around and call other customers for permission? As a business in service industry they should of be more open about their pricing packages or different membership category. As a client I should have the right to CHOOSE and to be able to upgrade my account to the preferred member category. They needed to be more helpful and descriptive of how I can be a preferred member instead of going around to my competitors and talking about my company and asking for permission from them to give me a preferred pricing!!! It gets much more interesting when I bring it to their attention and ask them why they have called other customers. The representative was SUPER RUDE! He is so arrogant and ignorant that he does not even apologize for breaching my privacy, sharing my information with other customers, and disrespecting me!!!!Dear Future Clients; Please watch out for what information you share with this company “ BOZ ELECTRIC” and what you ask them, because next thing you know it will be on the City NEWS asking people to Vote for your concern!

I am from the neighbourhood and went to Home Depot early in the morning regarding electrical upgrades. They didn’t have an electrician on board, so they referred me to Boz. Mr. Paul from ordering was knowledgeable and clear in answering my questions. I did not have any headaches or worries after talking to Paul. Although I did not end up ordering any parts, I felt welcomed to return for a purchase when I’m ready. Thank you for being a good neighbour, Ken Yu.
