Holiday Inn Express Sault Ste Marie, an IHG Hotel

The customer service at this hotel is amazing. Gillian and Emalee at the front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and answer all of the questions I had about the area. As soon as I checked in and they offered me muffins and fruit that were available in the breakfast area until 7:00pm. I've never had a hotel do that before. I truly believe that this kind of attentive and kind customer service is a lost art. Gillian and Emalee went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and I can't recommend them highly enough

Nice staff. Clean, comfortable rooms.There are car prowlers and when we came the parking lot was full. Free Breakfast is served until 10 (more like 9:30).Not real ketchup in Heinz bottles.Would be nice if there was a restaurant in hotel. Didn’t use pool or fitness center but it looked clean.

It's a nice room, but I chose this hotel because it said the EV charging was an amenity.The charging station with the longer cable would not provide electricity. The light turned solid red and even a reset would not fix it.The charging station with the shorter cable was not long enough to reach my charge port.

Stopped here on our way to Toronto, best place ever. Tbf, the night before we stayed at some dirty motel that never provided the breakfast promised. But arriving here after 17 hours of driving was just heaven. The rooms are very nice, very clean. The beds are so comfortable, the pillows are amazing and the blankets are like a weighted blanket.The bathroom was nice and clean, and they providied full bottles of dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. (not that you can take of course) When we got there, the guy in the front was so friendly and cheery for 11pm at night. And to top it all off, there was breakfast provided! It was delicious, I just loved it all.I'm actually so sad because on our trip home, neither of the places we're stopping have a holiday inn express, as they're really small towns. I was really looking forward to another night at the holiday inn.
