Lonsdale Grove and Cat and the Fiddle, Boutique Style Pet Boarding, Grooming and Care

We have boarded our dogs several times at Lonsdale and the treatment they have received has been impeccable. Welcoming, clean and friendly environment. We also have our dogs regularly groomed at Lonsdale, and we are thrilled to see our pampered dogs come home feeling fresh and pretty. An excellent place for all small dogs and cats to spend time away from home!

I have 2 cats that have stayed here a few times now, they are always very accommodating and the price is very fair. The facilities are clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this pet hotel for any dogs under 30lbs! Both of my dogs love being there and always come home happy. The staff takes great care of all dietary needs and comforts. In addition, I bring both dogs here for grooming and am always very pleased with their haircuts. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do, you are all wonderful!! Emily is an excellent cat groomer; she even managed to get my boy to have a bath with no fuss. Very quick and an excellent eye for detail. I haven't used the boarding services (yet) but based on my experience so far I would use them in the future. Highly recommend!

I usually travel on my own without my husband but 4 years ago it was our 25th and we needed a place to keep our little Hugo while we were away in the UK. This was the ONLY place I would consider. It's an hour away from our home but definitely worth it. The cleanliness and care is unbelievable! I wish I kept my home as clean as they keep this spectacular hotel for dogs. Everything is taken into consideration, the floor heat/cooling in each room, the walls up to the ceiling to keep it quiet and prevent any disease spread, the care they give the doggies, the state of the art HVAC system, the fun time outside. In fact, when we went to pick up Hugo and he saw us, he turned around and wanted to go back to his room - he didn't want to leave! As much as that made us sad we knew that was the BEST sign that he was well cared for. And the chandeliers in the hallways are the best :) If ever we are both away again at the same time this is the place we'll be taking our little guy!

We were very nervous about leaving our puppy with anyone or any service as this was our first time we would be away from our baby for more than a few hours. We chose Lonsdale Grove as our puppy's 'home away from home' for 2 weeks while we were traveling.CoCo was very well-looked after and the photos we received of her during her stay showed she was having lots of fun playing and making new friends with the other guests at the pet hotel. Rick and the professional staff put our worries to rest and our nerves at ease upon check-in, and they welcomed CoCo as if she was their own pet. They obviously and clearly cared for her wonderfully and made a point of maintaining similar at-home routines so CoCo would have consistency in her new, temporary environment and experience as minimal stress as possible.We very much appreciate the personal attention and socialization they gave to CoCo (and all the pets in their care) to comfort her (and us). There is no question for us, that Lonsdale Grove will be the ONLY place to which we would entrust our CoCo.Thank you, Rick and Paul and all the staff, for caring for our CoCo as well as we do.

I called several times to check on her when she was at the hotel." The staff were patient and kind to my cat. They have "cat condo" for you cat. It was like a little vacation for her!"

The team there were great, took my pup Cookie in for her first cut, she was nervous at first but was happy when we received her back.Staff were really courteous and professional.I recommend them for any of your pet's grooming needs.

Emily is the best car groomer in the tri-city area! It's costly but worth it knowing my fur baby is in good hands.
