Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Coquitlam - Austin Heights

My 2 kids have been doing reading with this center for many years. My kids can enjoy reading books by themselves at a young age. The kids get prize day every few months by collecting stickers for finishing work which not all kumon centre does this. Staff are always pleasant and patient. The administration is well organized and always good communication to parents. Would highly recommend.

Our daughter has attended this location for two years and the reading program helped her develop her reading skills. Kumon has been invaluable in developing her foundation for reading which is the basis for all learning. Alice and her staff go out of their way to make students and parents feel supported and valued. I highly recommend Alice and her team and thank them for their dedication, hard work and making learning fun.

I have the unique perspective of being a former employee at a few different Kumon Centres in the past. Alice's Austin Heights Kumon was my favourite centre to work at. When I finally decided to enrol my children almost 4 years ago, we knew this was the Kumon centre we would attend, despite not living in the same neighbourhood anymore.Alice was always a fun and wonderful employer/boss to work for, however, I am even more impressed with her from the perspective of a consumer and a parent.There are countless wonderful and positive things to say about Alice's centre -- from classroom set up to her outstanding team of staff -- but what impresses me the most, is how Alice seems to have some sort of magic power to always turn a challenging situation into a positive one.Anytime when I had any concerns about anything, Alice always has the perfect solution and is always calm and kind in her approach. What's more amazing though, is her ability to guide my children in their learning. There has been several occasions when our kids got frustrated and upset with their learning and it's hard for us to help them through some of these challenges. However, I can always count on Alice when these occasions arise. I am not sure what kind of magic Alice has over my children (and I'm sure many other Kumon children, too!), but they will always come home from Kumon happy, and feel so proud of their work.I am really grateful for Alice and her team. I feel strongly that my children's achievements are the result of the team's dedication to these children's learning, Alice's thoughtfulness in planning their work, and the team's genuine care for these children.

My family is very happy with the Kumon Math and Reading Centre in Austin, in Coquitlam. Their teachers are kind, professional , compassionate and knowledgeable. They work hard forge strong and friendly relationship with the students so as to better instruct them. The Director/ owner Alice is also amazing: creating a wonderful work and learning environment. My daughters had been at Austin Heights Kumon Center for more than 3 years now. I do not know where to begin, express and share my gratitude to Alice and the entire Kumon staff. Their genuine care for my children's learning had been my formidable companion. We are so grateful we found this Kumon! Alice and all the other Kumon teachers have been very helpful and supportive. My two kids, Leonardo and Rene, have taken Kumon classes for over three years. Alice, Pamela and the entire Kumon team at Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Coquitlam - Austin Heights have done an extraordinary job with them. Both kids are now one year ahead of their classmates at the Elementary School, and they gained a lot of confidence from the Math and Reading Kumon's lessons. Thanks to Kumon, we noticed that the youngest kid has a natural ability in Math, and we enjoyed looking at how fast and secure he answers the booklets.Alice keeps a detailed record of their progress, and every year she provides us graphs of their achievements and forecasts the expectations for the near future.As I mentioned, Alice, Pamela and the Kumon team made what was in their hands to welcome the children, keep their interest in learning and provide them with confidence and the academic tools they will need in their future. I highly recommend this outstanding Kumon centre and its fantastic team.

In the 8 years our son attended Kumon, we have had nothing but a positive experience at Kumon Austin Heights. Even after moving away from the area, we would still make the drive out to this location. We used to live in Schoolhouse St. in Coquitlam. Kumon Coquitlam with Alice is where my daughter goes to Kumon. For 7 years we went to Kumon Coquitlam with Alice, then we sold our place in Coquitlam and moved to Richmond. I pulled out my daughter from Kumon Coquitlam because of the distance and travel time. For about 2 months, my daughter was enrolled in one of the Kumons in Richmond. Unfortunately it didn't go well. The level of care, organization, and professionalism of Kumon Coquitlam with Alice was really at a different level. My daughter noticed the difference. Would you believe we went back to Alice even though the travel time was about 40mins? This place is a treasure and the team running it! Keep up the good work! Now my youngest son is now enrolled with Kumon Coquitlam with Alice.

Austin Heights Kumon Centre deserves a 5 star rating. Alice and her instructors truly go out of their way to help students understand their lessons. The friendliness of Alice and her staff makes both students and their parents feel at home. With that confidence, both our kids not only look forward to their Kumon lessons, but they can also focus on their lessons with enthusiasm. They know how to keep our kids interested in their work and that helped both our kids to complete the Kumon English program. The Kumon Centre is well organized too. Keep it up Alice and Team!
