Dr. Makinde cared for my mother for years before he became my physician for the last 15 years. He provided my mother with excellent care through to the time of her passing. He has always been kind, caring, gentle, thorough and helpful. In my case, not only has he always provided timely and effective care, his extra-thoroughness led to discovery of a previously undetected tumour. As a result of his extra caution"

Sometimes, you just have to say nothing negative about the Doctor himself because there is nothing to say. The Doctor, himself is great, efficient, detailed, caring and professional but for the last two years, it felt like his staff were playing some kind of negative games. They would not answer the phone when you call. When they answer hang up on you. They would say they would call you back and won't. This occurred with one particular staff. At one stage I was very concerned for his safety and called some one who knew him to confirm he was OK. It took me a long time to see the Doctor. I eventually did. He has been so good to me, I will continue to be his client.

This review has absolutely nothing to do with Dr. Makinde, as he was the very best doctor I have ever had.This review is purely regarding the new doctor, Dr. Nwappa, that has taken over his office and clients. I have been calling at least once a week since Dr. Makinde has retired and every single time I call, there’s no way to get ahold of anyone it goes to the voicemail which specifically states that calls will be returned within 48 hours. I have been calling for weeks, I have left over 6 messages and I have not received a single call back. I have prescriptions that I have been out of and are unable to fill due to lack of communication from this new doctor. You can book appointments online, however it takes at least a month and a half to be seen in person.It is so sad to see this place deteriorate so quickly after Dr. Makinde leaving, this was easily one of the best doctors office in Windsor. Now, it’s sad to say but it is probably one of the worst.I am out of options, I’m not sure what else to try or who to turn to at this point.

I absolutely hate to do this, but after 20 years I am transferring to another doctor. Prior to the pandemic I had no complaints. Dr Makinde himself is fantastic. However, since the start of the pandemic the level of care has greatly decreased. At first I assumed that it was because of the pandemic. Now, almost 2 years into the pandemic, I have to make the hard decision to change my family's primary care physician. I have not been able to see the doctor since the start of the pandemic. Phone calls make me incredibly uncomfortable and anxious. And to make matters worse I have not been able to get a hold of the office to schedule an appointment to have my medication adjusted. Dr. Makinde is quite soft spoken, polite, and respectful, but the new receptionist that just called me today to ask about forwarding medical information to the new physician was rude and has left me shaking and in tears. I feel horrible transferring because Dr Makinde is a great person, but I'm no longer receiving the care I need because the office staff is no longer functioning as efficiently as it once did. It's time for a change.

Dr. Makinde took care of me for 20 years and my husband for seven or eight. You are already greatly missed. Have a wonderful retirement Dr. Makinde, you have earned it.

Dr. Makinde is my family doctor for last seventeen years. He is really a nice doctor with nice behavior to me as a patient. He listens carefully my health problems and explains in details abut the possible remedies.

Dr. Makinde was our family doctor for almost 18 years. He is excellent doctor, very thorough and dedicated to his patient. He listen to his patients health concerns and take action ASAP. He does not rush when examining his patients not like other doctors that i went prior to meeting Dr. Makinde, that doctor was rushing me and only want her patient to address 1 health problem per appointment, when i told her i got another health concern she told me to book for another appt. I was dis appointed so i look for another doctor. Thank God i met Dr. Makinde who took care of our whole family wt. compasion and honest. Thank you so much Dr. Makinde for all your care to our family. We are praying for your good health and safety wt. your family always so you can help more people who need your care and support. Very detailed and, patient .He has been my family doctor for over 12 years. I have true respect for him as he truly cares about his patients. I am blessed to have him as my family doctor. I pray God continues to give him the wisdom and guidance to do his job.

Been with Dr.Makinde for many many years, I have nothing but nice words to say about him. Very caring, compassionate and understanding, he listens to his patients when they talk. I wouldn't change Dr's ever. Thank you Dr Makinde!
