I have to say that Paul Mara Jewellers totally lived up to its 5 star reputation with my recent experience. My wife and I originally went in to get some maintenance work done to her engagement and wedding rings. But after just one conversation with staff, and with some careful and slightly sneaky back-and-forths with Tanya, I totally trusted the jewellers to also sneak in a few more diamonds onto my wife's original wedding ring. Was my wife surprised? You bet. Was she and I 110% happy with the careful craftsmanship that went into both her rings? Most definitely. That's why I highly recommend Paul Mara Jewellers for all your future jewellery needs.

My fiancé and I went to Paul Mara as it was recommended by a friend. After having some pretty negative experiences at other jewelry shops in town, we quickly realized this experience was nothing alike. We were greeted with open arms, given as much time as we needed in the store itself and when it came time to purchase. They brought a custom ring into the store just so I could try on a different style, they were able to customize the diamond to my preference, our quotes were 100% accurate and my ring arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. An overall dream of an experience and a ring I get to fall in love with every single time I see it. The staff are unmatched, they work great as a whole team and it’s a local family business. Could not have asked for a better experience!

I highly recommend Paul Mara Jewellers!When I was in Las Vegas this last July, I fell in love with Horseshoe Rings. Particularly yellow gold and diamond ones. I loved the myth of wearing the horseshoe face up, when not gambling, to collect luck, and then, when gambling, face down, to let the luck flow into the cards. I had to have one of my own! So, I looked around in pawn shops, and jewellers, only to be disappointed with either the price or workmanship, or both. On my wife's advice, I decided to try Paul Mara Jewellers. Upon first walking through the door, I was greeted by a friendly staff. The vibe in the air was welcoming, and I felt very much at ease discussing what I was looking for; a custom piece was no problem. Tanya and Marsha were very knowledgeable in helping me decide on the details of the ring. Did I want a hollow back, or filled? Did I want 10k or 14k? Did I prefer lab grown diamonds, or mined? What quality of diamonds? How would I like them set; channel or bead? The benefits of each option were explained, and both Tanya and Marsha were patient with my questions. Further, the quoted estimates were very fair, even though we were discussing a custom made piece. Once the details were decided, I was told a wax would be made, and I would be able to see the wax before approving the final product. The whole process was enjoyable, and there was no pressure, at all. In the end, I went with lab grown (Si1 and Si2, G and H) diamonds, bead set into a, solid back, 10k yellow gold horseshoe ring, that turned out perfect! Thank you, so much, Tanya, Marsha, and crew!

I do not have words for how amazing this place is!! Marsha, Sara and all the staff at Paul Mara was exceptional. Never in my life have I experienced such immaculate professionals. They made the entire process of shopping for an engagement ring pleasant and so enjoyable. The end result was perfect and beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. I highly highly recommend this place. We had a wonderful experience designing a custom engagement ring with the team at Paul Mara. Sara S was so knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and made the entire custom design process less daunting by keeping an open line of communication, working within our budget, and leading us in the right direction with her education. While we didn’t have a clear vision for what we wanted when we first walked in, we never felt like we were being pressured to purchase something that we weren’t sure about the way we had experienced in certain big box jewellery stores. As we continued through the steps of building our custom ring, Sara had multiple wax molds made for us, and revised the CAD drawings down to the smallest detail to ensure that it would be exactly what we were looking for. Any concerns we had, she was able to talk us through and find the perfect solution!When we received the ring, it felt like we were celebrating with friends. We can’t thank Sara and the team at Paul Mara enough!

Our family brought our late grandmother’s jewellery into Paul Mara to be re-made into 4 rings. We want to thank Paul Mara for making the experience very meaningful and perfect. The Staff at Paul Mara are caring, patient listeners!I had an unusual request to have a Ring duplicated, and their eye for detail, and an understanding of a rather tight Christmas deadline, were excellent. I enjoyed the secure entry and limited number of people in the store. The soft music and hushed tones completely relaxed me.I felt as though I had indeed, experienced a trusting, friendly, and respectful environment. There are other stores who spend money on glitzy ads, not Paul Mara. They stand alone in Victoria, for personal Customer Service. I now know we have finally discovered a wonderful Jeweller, and will continue to visit their Store.
