Ordered my fryer and small ware from Steve and Wendi and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The items I ordered were as advertised, even called ahead to confirm to be sure and couldn't be happier with our purchases, Socold is definitely the one stop shop for all your restaurant needs! Will not return phone calls after Steve has made a sale. Once this business has received your cheque for whatever you have purchased getting follow up support or sales is impossible. They do not answer the phone,are not open, or will never return your call. We know other business owners who requested a fifteen thousand dollar product from Steve and he never returned the call for the sale, so they went to someone else and spent even more happily for excellent service. We were very disappointed because he initially seemed great and helpful but clearly he is unreliable and not professional, Find another Supplier trust me.

Had an urgent need for an additional oven. Chose the brand, model, paid, and co-ordinated delivery in less than 30 minutes, all while between other appointments. Steve has a great sense of awareness when it comes to working with small business owners. Calls were returned promptly, followup completed as expected, and pricing was very competitive. Would highly recommend.

We have dealt with Steve at SoCold for a few years now for our large family restaurant and have nothing but good things to say. We have bought everything from chairs for the dining room to small appliances from him and his service and honesty are always on point. These days we always fire an email over to Steve before we buy any restaurant equipment big or small.

Great service from start to finish when we purchased a new true refridgerator.... what restaurant supply company makes a follow up call to ensure product, delivery etc are good? THIS ONE!Highly recommend for pricing, speed of delivery/turnaround.Edit: had some problems with the fridge and Steve went to bat for us in orchestrating warranty etc. Long story short.... I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Steve is great to deal with! Funny guy that will tell you straight up what he thinks. We are starting our food truck and he pointed us in the right direction, understanding the business need and budget. We ended picking up the wrong airpots and he did a refund on the spot and re-ordered the right ones, no questions asked. Highly recommended!

Steve was amazing to deal with - excellent price and quick and attentive service. We purchased a stainless dish cabinet - normally commercial - for our residential kitchen. Quite unique and SoCold made it happen!

I opened a take out restaurant in Cambridge.I called So Cold for Sinks Etc. Steve was very personable and accommodating. He actually hooked me up with an awesome Plumber too.He had all the scopes on the sinks, so when I hired a Mechanical Engineer, he called Steve and had all the sizes emailed to him within seconds.Having this information first hand save me a lot of money.I had to exchange some equipment, which was no problem, Steve gave me a credit.I would highly recommend this company;not only for its impeccable service, also for it's high quality products.Best Regards,Patricia

We searched a few places offering the same table but had shipping costs of over 300$, that's where SoCold Restaurant Supply came to the rescue. We called and picked up the order within a few hours before the owner was off to donate hand sanitizer and PPE to a few local businesses in need. I highly recommend them for the quality of product, swiftness of service and their clear commitment to the local community during such an uncertain time. Way to go! We'll be back.

We bought some freezers and coolers. Price was good and wanted to give business to local. Unfortunately one of the freezers caught fire. Please be careful when buying freezers as we came to know the refrigerant is actual propane which is inflammable. Do your due diligence before buying.I agree with some of the negative feedback about the service. We had similar experiences.P.SWe are surprised to hear the issue of non-payment. We paid all the money upfront before the delivery.We were not made aware of using gas as a refrigerant and requiring of regular maintenance during purchasing. Had we known, we would not proceed. We are dealing with True brand freezer for the past 8 years, never had an issue. Repairs now and then is expected but not catching fire!We left a review for 2 reasons. 1 we thought the company would improve their design to avoid future problems. 2 We thought it is our responsibility to make aware of the future customers about the potential issues and the safety of the personnel, equipment and business.From the response and from the negative reviews we received from strangers after the response, it appears reactive rather responsive.
