Wild to see all these incredible reviews. Was excited and hungry heading into dinner on a Saturday night. Was extremely disappointed as our food was absolutely horrible. The pizza was okay but far from authentic. The pasta (carbonara) was inedible. The special steak was very sad, and incredibly overpriced for the cut and quality of meat received. Although service was good and it was very nice inside. Could not recommend.

The entrance was like a maze, fun to get to & restaurant was well kept and clean. Service was friendly and attentive. The margherita pizza was cooked perfectly, crust was not too thick & bubbly, the tomato sauce was full of flavor & not too acidic, and they were generous with the cheese. The striploin gnocchi had heaps of meat and finished off with lots of parmesan, sauce was thick and rich. It was very filling and yummy as well. They have Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options on their menu. Will definitely be back!

Really want to love Basilico. New local looking for a place to take guests with confidence. The server was friendly, fast and no complaints about him at all. But place was empty so I would expect no less. We ordered 3 apps and 2 pizzas. The apps were very, very small especially the figs and calamari. Calamari was not crispy but was lightly battered so kind of soggy. Bruschetta was good. Figs were good but only 3. Pizzas were quite decent but again quite small. The patio needs some love, our umbrella was tippy. Hopefully things pick up here it has a lot of potential. I don’t mind paying a bit more but then expect a bit more.

This is my favorite spot to wine and dine in Bracebridge! I love that it feels so tucked away- it's almost like Muskoka's own secret spot. The atmosphere in the summer shines with gorgeous views from the patio, and feels cozy yet hip in the winter. The walls are decorated with beautiful local art that is not just nice to look at, but great conversation starters too.The menu changes from time to time, as does the finely curated cocktail menu. There is a fantastic wine selection as well.My favorite dishes would be any of the pastas but especially the carbonara. It has preserved lemons which makes the dish feel light but still rich somehow.The roasted apple salad with cashew ricotta is a must try too.

The pictures of this place online are incredibly deceiving. The patio is nice, but the inside atmosphere is reminiscent of a legion or Irish pub. We were seated in a dark, confined room cut off from the rest of the restaurant. The food was absolutely atrocious, from the “steak” and gnocchi looking and tasting like overcooked pot roast drowning in grease, to the carbonara with undercooked “pancetta” that looked like deli ham and frozen shrimp, to the pesto pasta with extremely overcooked mussels. The peach bruschetta was ice cold. We had to spoon off the grease from our meals in order to stomach them. Service was extremely confusing, as it seemed like the servers had no idea what was going on and no idea where to bring food.Overall, would absolutely not recommend. If you’re looking to pay $25-$30 for a below average meal, this is your place.

I don’t complain too often and I don’t enjoy writing a bad review, but the previous reviews don’t make sense. How is this place 4.5 stars!?!. We are locals who love to eat out at different restaurants... We were hungry and excited heading into tonight’s dinner.We were extremely disappointed as our food was awful. The steak was worse than what you’d get at chucks roadhouse….Thin under cooked… for $45 !!The pesto pasta was bland with over cooked mussels and decent shrimp.The calamari was alright.The meal was WAY over priced…If you compare it to: tall trees , crossroads, port side… All three are FAR superior.Although service was okay (she seemed to be new and was trying her best)The patio and the main area are beautiful.But overall I would not recommend at all.

If you are looking for a hidden gem! Well... I found it. Beautiful location for date night. Not sure if they do weddings, but I was thinking it would be beautiful for one in the summer on their patio. It's part of the Inn so it's very convenient.Highly recommend it! The breakfast pizza was so good!!! I had Eggs Benny, but the arugula flavour was a bit strong. As a whole... definitely a winner.

The server tried her best, we had to ask for everything though. We didn’t have cutlery so we asked for some, we didn’t have salt and pepper so we asked for it, I had to ask for another beer, our meals weren’t too good. I could make the same at home and probably do a better job. When I’m paying $130 for my wife and I I definitely expect a lot better food. Atmosphere is good and the place is nice, maybe just try to find some more gourmet chefs.
