It's an excellent short low impact walking area. The free standing bridges make for a very scenic spot.

Hopewell Heritage Foot Bridge Nature Trail
I go to the Hopewell footbridge with my dog for walks in the summer. I purposely went at Christmas time this past year to see the decorations on the footbridge. The lovely people who live beside the footbridge were kind enough to decorate the bridge with Christmas lights. I went both in the day and the evening. It looked beautiful in the evening, especially with the flurries that night. Just as pretty in the daylight as well. I just think it was so thoughtful for the people to take the time to do that, especially with the price of everything nowadays.

Hopewell Heritage Foot Bridge Nature Trail
Drove to the “address” and parked in the little pull off on the left side of the road. The “no motorized vehicle” made me feel like I wasn’t just walking into someone’s yard. And the bridge was right there behind the house. Fun to walk across. Then walked the trail and found the second bridge. And got to the abandoned baseball field. Bridges seemed relatively safe enough for my kids to walk and I didn’t feel like they were going to fall through cracks or anything. Nice little walk/hike for a summer morning with my 2 and 5 year old!

I've been going to the Foot Bridge since I was a kid. It's a little older now but still fully functional. The scenery from the bridge is easily some of the most beautiful in the county. A neat little out of the way attraction for adventure.

Cute spot to make a stop at! There is one big bridge like the one pictures as well as a smaller one a bit further down the trail :) It’s only about a .5 km trail I’d say so don’t expect anything crazy!
