Goemans Lakeshore Meats & Deli

Most of the staff are great. A lot of the meat is great. I want to be a customer here but I cannot be anymore. I have seen one staff member, on several occasions, touching raw meat and then touching cold cuts. I’ve also seen them dip their hands in a bucket of water by the sink between customers. No soap. No drying. This isn’t sanitary. I expect a minimum standard of sanitation. I became quite ill after consuming some suspect meat after one of these unsanitary interactions. I can also see that there have been several infractions posted by public health. What is going on here? Please solve it. Or reach out to me for details so you can solve it.

Their cabbage rolls are to die for. I grew up with my grandmother's way of making them (rice, onion, & bacon pork) but these are great! 2 of them will make a meal for me

First time visiting the store in a few years. We bought premium priced steaks to bbq which were not very tender.Also purchased fresh Italian pork sausages in a pkg. that were quite high in sodium" & spices."

It seems none of the staff like to use gloves or clean their hands while handling and packaging meat . I used to go here a lot . Not anymore.

I was looking for a pork leg around the city and Goemans came through for me. I called them ahead and they quickly accommodated my order. I arrived just after and they had a beautiful pork leg waiting.The other products on display also looked nice and fresh. Great selection.The staff was super friendly all around. I will definitely be back to try the other products.

I went yesterday for the first time - the woman that helped me was fantastic! The chicken I bought was great! And reasonably priced. The cashier was also friendly and wonderful. I'll go back again.

We have been going to Lakeshore meats for many many years. Who ever is in charge of hiring needs to be fired. Your market place against all others is your service. Great service is what makes you stick out above the crowd. Of course nice product, which you have.You have some great employees.Trisha is the best, what a doll. She is so great with customers.Marie who we have known forever, she is wonderful. Also Kim who knows how to have fun.All of these woman get how to do the job.Recently though it seems the other staff have no interest in making the customer feel welcome. When we first started going here you had to take a number at the door because you were so busy. Good luck surviving your competition with poor wait staff. The last time we were there I had to wait 12 minutes for someone to check me out. REALLY!Look at how this 60 dollar prime rib was wrapped

Christmas Eve my girlfriend and I grabbed our favourite cuts of meat for Christmas dinner. Today we looked over those finances and realized we were charged $20 in excess of the cost on the meats (23.68, 5.31). We paid 47 and change. I will never support these thieves.

Mom called and set aside a steak pie for New Years Eve dinner. One can purchase pies made in store as well as Scottish meat pies. All the of the staff was welcoming and friendly. I’ve always heard the radio ad on local stations but this was my first visit.I will shop here again..especially when bbq season comes back ( even though bbq season is a year round thing for some ) in the spring.I included photos as the selection was impressive. And most importantly... to me at least - the floors were clean. Come check it out!Do it!
