When you acquire an older home you start learning there is a chain of events to things and you start at the wrong end finding out you have to keep going backwards. That was me. House had never been on market and therefore never had a watermeter, but as a new owner I need one or face the dreaded stupidly high flat fee!". The meter people took one look at the valve and said no - said it was to risky to install

We had a hot water tank installed by another company, and while they were installing it, they had a look at our furnace, saying it was old and probably leaking CO2. They tried to scare us into financing a new one at over $10000. They also explained that if we didnt replace it, the CO2 that could possibly be leaking into our house would kill us.We decided to call around and get some second opinions.180 Plumbing and Heating really impressed us. We requested an appointment with their online system and Desmond called me back right away to schedule an appointment.Desmond was on time and explained everything that he was doing, and that our furnace was definitely old, but it looked to be in good shape. He even told us about a program with our gas company that will come and do a free leak test on the furnace.Desmond never tried to upsell us on anything and never put any pressure on us to spend more money than what was needed to get the job done right. 180 Plumbing replaced our poly-b pipes. Their pricing was reasonable, the job was completed efficiently and our home was left clean. We would use their services again.

Desmond fixed our upstairs furnace after I couldn't figure out what was wrong (the igniter was the culprit, but the error code on the system board did not identify the issue properly). The same unit had a small gas leak and our hot water heater exhaust pipe needed repair; he was able to address all of these issues on the same visit. I will definitely call him again to help us with any plumbing or heating issues that occur in the future. Thanks!
