Pinecrest Stables

Robyn and the Pinecrest Stables Team are amazing! Robyn has helped me develop my riding as well as make me into a better horse person. She has been helping me develop my young horse that was recently imported from Europe and my young one absolutely adores her. She is always patient, enthusiastic and professional, never failing to put a smile on my face and my horses during every lesson no matter the circumstance. Robyn has also helped me complete my B pony club level this year providing me assistance and all the knowledge to complete my goals. Her and her team have given me comfort in time of need when my previous horse passed away unexpectedly of natural causes and I always know my horse is being taken care of with her. I have learned so much this year training with Robyn and every day she helps me move forward and learn more. Thank you so much Robyn and the Pinecrest Stables Team for the endless support and kindness!

I took lessons from Robyn for about 5 years, and for 2 of those years I leased one of her lovely horses (her horses are all incredibly well cared for - when the horse I was leasing developed age-related health problems, Robyn retired her but kept her and cared for her for the rest of her life). What I appreciated the most about Robyn was that she clearly enjoyed teaching an older inexperienced rider like me as much as she enjoyed teaching her young competitive riders. She understood my timidness and tailored the lessons to that - never pushing me too much, but encouraging me to push myself just enough that I steadily progressed and gained more confidence. I would still be riding with her if I hadn't had some health issues curtail my riding. I really miss my lessons with her.

I have been riding with Team Pinecrest for over 2 years, with the last year being with Robyn herself on her horse River. Not only did she match me with the exactly correct horse that I needed for my level, she has been both encouraging and supportive as my skills increased and knows just how much to push when i need that little bit of extra self-esteem to get over a hurdle. Communication works two ways and anytime I have communicated clearly and respectfully my needs, Robyn has been excellent in adjusting our program to make sure that I am safe and continue to work on the skill that I may be feeling a bit apprehensive about. She is an excellent coach, mentor, horse trainer, and human being. I recommend her to everyone I speak with about my journey of learning how to ride (which i started at the ripe age of 42! :)If you are looking for someone to help you challenge yourself, meet your goals and do it while having fun, then you need Robyn in your life. <3
