The woman at the front desk is lovely and very friendly. I had to wait a little longer for a senior associate because of my papers but she kept me in the loop and worked hard to get me in as soon as possible! Also the woman who processed my return was VERY knowledgeable and fast. Great experience! Will return to St Catharines St Paul st location again!

Everyone I have interacted with at the branch, including tax professionals and reception, were wonderful and friendly. I've had Peter help with my returns for the past two years and he is absolutely phenomenal! His approachable nature, sense of humor, and tax expertise keep me coming back every year! Fantastic experience that makes me look forward to tax season!

Cindy was AMAZING! She found so many credits that I would have never known were due to me. I have been going to this H&R location for the past 3 years and they have always done their best to ensure that I got a good return. They give great advice and are very up to date on government credits available.

Made appointment and still waited an hour to see someone.Very disappointed with the regularly and severely declining service at this location.

Was taken in as a walk in, the awesome lady at the desk kept me up to date for my wait and John got me a pretty great return. First started coming here with 7 years of returns, they have always been friendly and helpful.

My tax professional, Robert, was awesome. He was very professional, attentive and accommodate to me and my husband's situation. Plus, his sense of humor made us feel like the time sitting there was so entertaining and useful. Last but not least, we were able to finish our tax for the year 2018 successfully thanks to him. Very happy about our visit!

Took over a month for my taxes to be completed. They're really just DC bank. Makes me wonder if they are hiding as hnr block so they can collect interest as DC bank off your taxes.Messed up an e transfer twice and wrote my address wrong.Guess they can't wait to go home?

We had a great experience with the lady doing our taxes she was awesome, pointing out she thought we were eligible for property tax refunds going back 4-5 years. She was smart, totally knowledgeable. Made sure she called us in the off season and let us know what paperwork is required. We dropped it off with receptionist 4 weeks ago. She had told us when it was completed they would contact us.We called last week to find out it still was not looked at. They would call back by the end of the day.that was Wednesday...no call thu fri closed Monday no call Tuesday morning wife called them , they would call back by end of day. I call back 230 not completed. I ask for district manager phone number Bernie puts me on hold comes back says the lady completing it will call me back in 10 minutes I said great but I still want district manager number puts me on hold give 1800 number says have to call head office....lol thx H and r no more...ps it’s 35 minutes no call...UPDATED: they called us about 90 minutes, quite rude on the phone...said the H N R people had made mistakes. In other words out of 5 years H and R employees had made mistakes on our tax returns... we were probably getting 600-800.00 back BUT first we owed them 160.00 lol. Dear Henry we will drop off the 160.00 today Happy customers tell 1-2 people ...unhappy people tell everyone...Just when you think it can't get worse it does!!!I have Parkinsons and don't drive, wife just got over lg b cell lymphoma drives short distances. Due to treatments has challenges walking etc. H & R st.catharines no chairs due to covid......perhaps 2 plastic chairs? l abelled reserved? Anyway after 4 weeks we were finally told our papers were ready. not driving i rarely carry id except for my phone... told i need id. would except bank card if my name on it--no luck i leave for dr appt on way home wife goes in,,,,,,,,cant accept her id has to be mine.Ive asked for district manager several times---not available, no phone contact etc. told to call corporate hq. BUT Dale Carnegie--not his real name---definitely a corporate guy trying to follow company playbook calls me. HQ had found a way to contact him and straighten this out he was told. Dale contacted me and explained in corporate climbing the ladder jargon he had discussed the situation with the staff. He had explained to them some clients can be challenging, but they need to be polite to all.Sometimes it's all about principle in life. I'm on L'TD and the wife has not received pay cheque in 18 months... cash is always nice. Like i saidSometimes it's all about principle in life". H and R wont even notice i'm sure but I would rather skip the rebate than (a) pay them 150.00 to correct their mistake (b) pay them 150.00 and go through the hassle of dealing wiith rude staff. In doubt of my side of the story Dale ? I often record my calls due to memory challenges...plus id rather tell my 2 friends who will tell their 2 friends thanks gretz"

Staff is wonderful and efficient! Thank you so much Alison and John!They are timely and always polite, they go the extra mile and are super friendly and forthright in what they can do for you. I’ve never had a bad experience at this place and I will continue to see this location. Great job guys thanks for your hard work! Only downside would be parking situation in downtown
