After 20+ years of service we decided it was time to update the look and features of our aging Instaflame fireplace gas insert. We looked on line and contacted several contractors. We wanted to see working models before making a choice. We ruled out those with no showroom models to view and those that had too many on display to choose from. After a recommendation from a friend, we contacted Appleby Systems. They have several working models on display and we chose the new Regency Gi29 for its realistic log set, clear vision glass, lighted coals effect and multilevel settings for flame and fan. Plus, Regency was offering incentives during November. Appleby Systems were great to deal with from start to finish. The installers were professional, polite and attentive to making sure everything was done right. We could not be more pleased with our experience working with the President and staff. Like everything else these days, we just hope the modern electronics and gadgetry of our new Regency fireplace insert serves us as well as our now retired one.

Andrew the technician was on time and polite and extremely professional..his diagnosis was accurate and done very quickly.. he explained the repair and gave me the cost of repair . was able to complete the job with parts in stock on his truck. very pleased with the service and the cost.. he verified his repairs and left no mess. job well done ✔️

Needed a new gas insert for my fireplace. Visited the store. Salesperson said the person who prepared the quotes was not available. She took my information and told me I would be contacted. Three days went by and no one contacted me. Visited the website and left an inquiry with my information. Website says someone would contact me within one business day. Again, no one has contacted me. Moving on. Guess this company doesn't like money.

I have been using Appleby systems for years now to maintain and clean my furnace. This last Visit I was told I needed a new furnace. They worked quickly and had my new furnace in within days. The 2 gentleman that came were clean quiet and professional. They exceeded my expectations on all counts as they answered all questions in detail and explained everything they did. Charged for 2 services when requested for one.Had initially requested to install thermostat and furnace inspection. I called in to cancel furnace inspection service and was confirmed on the phone that only thermostat installation will be done at the time of the visit.This cancelation request was not conveyed to technician who installed the thermostat and I thought he was doing checks post installation. When asked, he said he is waiting for furnace to go from stage 1 to 2 and tells me he looked around the furnace and gave me some recommendations to maintain and to service.At the end, he charges me for both the services. I told him, I had called in to cancel inspection service. He says, ”well I found a problem, didn’t I” and then changes the charge from inspection to diagnostic which is only few dollars less than inspection.I effectively paid for 2 services when requested for one.Followed up with them and technician version of the story says, he was facing connection problems with thermostat and had to perform diagnostic.While he was here, he did not say one word about connection issues and requiring diagnosticsAlthough people are nice to talk to, I wouldn’t recommend doing business with them. They ghosted me when reached out for help and clarification

We recently had our furnaced replaced by Appleby systems and we were very pleased with the whole process. Diane at the main office was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. I was lucky to connect with her as two other companies we called were very dishonest and tried to make a quick sale with an overpriced products. She went above and beyond to help us to check the warranty status of our old furnace before deciding if we need to purchase a new one. The crew were very helpful, efficient and friendly and they took their time to teach us the required maintenance. Despite being stress with the whole process on having to replace the system unexpectedly, Appleby systems made the process smooth and in timely manner with honest services and great value on the products. We highly recommend Appleby Systems and will be using their service in future.
