Went for a wedding: food was not amazing but the staff were fantastic, very attentive and good humored! The house and grounds are beautiful, although splitting up the guests into what felt like different rooms made speeches hard to hear and people difficult to see.

This review is long over due! We got married at Guisachan House in July 2020. The Guisachan house venue has beautiful gardens, a lovely glass/wood air-conditioned interior space, and many nice areas on the grounds for photos, but none of that is what makes the venue great. Georg and his team is what make it great. He is very relaxed, accommodating, kind and generous. He was always willing to answer our questions, listen to our wants for the big day and willing to make them happen. He went above and beyond to make our wedding day wonderful. We did a tasting for the food menu and weren't quite satisfied with a couple of the options. The next time we came back to see him he surprised us by remaking one item that we were unsure on for us and it was scrumptious. The food was just one of the things our guests were raving about. I highly recommend the salmon! I brought in a lot of my own decor, but his team did a good job of setting it all up for us. On the day of the wedding the service for dinner and drinks was impeccable. He supplies a large team and they did an amazing job of attending to our guests. The bridal suite that is included for getting ready was also really nice, lots of space for the bridal party to prepare. See some of the attached photos for flowers, ice sculpture, and cake that are included in his bookings. Don't be afraid to tell him what you are thinking or run ideas past him, he is very easy to work with and consistently does whatever he can to make sure your wedding day is everything you are hoping for. We decided to have our wedding here before covid came around and had to reschedule our wedding 3 times. Georg (the venue owner and wedding planner) worked with us through everything, was so accommodating and was just amazing.He puts his heart and sole into this, and tries his best to make this day special. He didn’t miss a single touch and is really a jack of all trades.His staff and family are fantastic, food is amazing, the venue is beautiful (the getting ready room for the bridal party is stunning). I just can’t say enough positive things about this venue. We had the best night ever!

An old friend just got married here, and what a special venue!! The garden was beautiful, the house was gorgeous, and the food was sensational. But, to be honest, the best part was the staff. Everyone was super on the ball, kind, and bent over backwards to help make sure the wedding went off without a hitch!Thank you for an incredible night. If I'm ever fortunate enough to find my match, I'll want to tie the knot here!

Georg was absolutely amazing. We planned our wedding pre-pandemic, and he handled the transition better than we ever could have hoped. Georg is friendly, professional, and does absolutely everything he can to make sure your wedding day is the wedding of your dreams. I cannot express just how much stress was taken off our shoulders knowing that Georg would take care of every detail. He was AMAZING!! The gardens were beautiful, the food was delicious, everything was perfect. Our guests all raved about the food, and they all enjoyed roaming around the beautiful gardens. We truly cannot recommend the Guisachan House enough!The photos are from Abigail Eveline Photography, who I also highly recommend!

Georg planned and hosted our wedding at the Guisachan House and it was incredible! He went above and beyond in every moment of the day, us and our guests had a great time. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a low stress wedding experience!

I photograph a lot of weddings, and this venue is one of my favourites! Perfect for 100ish person weddings. The gardens in the surrounding areas make for STUNNING photos, looove all of the flowers! The getting ready rooms are elegant and vintage, and there's also a beautiful little courtyard that's a perfect spot for sunset photos (see images). Highly recommend!

We chose this venue for the beauty of the property Guisichan House sits on. The gardens are stunning and the house has such character. It is a perfect place for a 100ish person wedding. One stop shop too, which is great for those who aren't big on planning! Georg and his staff are fantastic too! It was so easy working with Georg. We trusted his judgment and were not disappointed! Our wedding went smoothly because of Georg. A million thanks!

Amazing venue. My wife and I just got married there on the 18th, and we couldn't ask for any better place or for anyone else to run it. Guisachan House venue had brought our families together closer than ever before, it has this beautiful feeling being there, like being at home. My wife and I are so happy we got married there.Thank you George and to all the staff for such an amazing experience!
