Shoppers Drug Mart

Terrible customer service. Made an appointment to have a rapid strep test done for my kids. When I showed up the pharmacist was incredibly rude and angry that I was there as “they were way too busy and have too many customers today”. Condescending, annoyed and very rude. They never have enough staff- I’ve only ever had terrible experiences there. Incredibly rude staff who seem genuinely annoyed with the customers. There are so many other wonderful small pharmacies in Canmore- please support these ones instead!!

This pharmacy helped me so much with getting my medication switched from Nova Scotia in October. However, someone working in the pharmacy took my call tonight- not the pharmacist- but whoever that was, possibly the assistant made me feel pretty stupid for asking a question simply of “my pharmacist in Nova Scotia would write my prescription for this there is that what happens here?” “Umm you’re not trying to find a fam doc?” Yes. I am. But if you look in the province I came from- fam docs take about 7 years. That’s why I asked. I don’t think I needed the feeling of what a nonsense question coming from a province with almost no fam docs left. 3/5 ⭐️

The customer service at this Shoppers Drug Mart store is TERRIBLE! The store is very disorganized and not welcoming.WORST WEBSITE EVER. This is the slowest, non-user friendly website I have ever used for online shopping. Very disappointed.

I haven't really had a bad experience at this Shoppers until today. I approached the pharmacy to ask if I had any prescriptions available (because normally they autofill). Pharmacist (at least I think it was the pharmacist) asked me a couple questions and then told me I must not be compliant" with taking my medication

Pharmacy: We stopped by because we had questions for the pharmacy during our trip. I wish I remember the female pharmacist who helped us the afternoon of 5/12/23 because she deserves recognition for being absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. She took her time with us and explained what we were looking for and went above and beyond. She was light, professional, and extremely helpful. She was also willing to work with us to get some items that they didn’t have in stock.

Shoppers Canmore increased the prices of Passport´s Photo and they don´t warn that they don´t offer the service.I wasted my time and money today.

Today I had to bring a prescription in. Scott the pharmacist was amazing. Extremely informative. He had a great tip on how to get my one year old to take his medicine and it worked like a charm. The service was absolutely amazing.

Explained I was struggling to breathe due to my asthma for the first time in 10 years and asked if they had any over the counter relievers or saline relievers. The woman behind the pharmacy counter looked at me like I was a drug addict and said you need a prescription" and turned her back to me to get rid of me quick. Would've complained in person if I could catch my breath. Really poor service. I went across to the pharmacy at Save On Foods and they explained they don't sell OTC relievers anymore but gave me instructions on how to get a prescription at a nearby medical centre in Banff. Much friendlier staff at Save On Foods."

Always a great experience here. Have to give a huge shout out to Kristen. My son was less than co operative with his flu shot. Two appointments and several attempts later, she gained his trust. Her patience ,compassion and professionalism, was incredibleThanks for all you do
