I had heard of Imaginary Wars but hadn't been until recently. I am glad I did. It was a friendly and helpful environment. The owner let me know about potential restocks and has always been friendly and open to conversation.There's a good selection of Comics which I was able to find one I had been looking to get for sometime. There is also a good selection of different games and hobbying gear. Definitely one of the of first places I stop if I need something.

Great little store. Went in to inquire about stuff for my son and to have a look around. Kyle was very friendly and helpful. Will be bringing my son in to have a look. They have an interesting selection of games, comics, game parts and manuals. They even have events.

The stock available was good. I had a bad customer service experience. I came in with my wife and got glared at while I was initially looking around, we walked by the counter to look at stuff and were ignored while the guy was talking to his buddy. I wanted to find a new shop closer to my house, but after this experience I don’t think I’m going to come backEdit: I recently thought I should give the location another chance and I’m glad I did. The staff was friendly, helped my brother and I find exactly what we needed, and invited us back for events. Excited to be back

I came in today asking about game nights and beginner nights for D&D and Warhammer AoS. It was a lovely and welcoming environment and I really appreciate how kind Kyle was when helping me out. Also the mini paint stock here is way better than other stores I’ve been to, much more variety.

Imaginary wars is a fantastic hobby and game shop in SW Calgary. Fostering a great community of miniature war gamers and hosting events for all table top games, it's one of my favourite hobby stores in Calgary. Great selection of games and a great owner and staff that're happy to chat and answer your questions.

Excellent store. Very nice and owner. Not a massive store but contained a nice selection of Warhammer 40k and lots of table space for the floor space available.The scenery for the tables was also really well painted with a ton of variety. Definitely worth checking out and playing at if in Calgary.

Really great store. Owner and employees are incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgable. Overall highly recommended and super accessible due to it's location right on Elbow and Southland drive.The store is divided into what appears to be 4 sections. The first obvious section when you walk in, is the large comic assortment on the entry wall. Close by is a decent sized assortment of D&D/board gaming products organized via shelving, and towards the back of the story it is almost Soley dedicated to wargaming with the final section near the checkout dedicated to TCGs. As you can probably guess from my description it is a decent sized store with plenty of space.

Awesome, clean games store with lots of different games, comics, and more available. Decent collection of warhammer, board games, card based games, etc. There are also tables set up for table top gaming.
