First time buying a gun in Canada. These guys are awesome! Excellent service, very knowledgeable and friendly! They have a decent variety of firearms, accessories and a range right next to it. Will make this my go to gun shop! Thank you Sara.

Lanz shooting supply has been my main shop to buy things from for a number of reasons.First and foremost everyone wants a good deal. If you can find a lower price they WILL price match. And man does this make lanz a win/win. I don't need to worry about spending money on shipping, I get a solid price on whatever I want AND they get my money.To back this up, despite the small store front they have a huge selection. Youll easily have several brands and bullet weights to choose from for popular calibers like .223 and 9mm. Unless you are shooting something obscure, they have it. For example they at the time of writing stock .243 Winchester.Furthermore their reloading supplies aren't something to scoff at either. They have a HUGE selection of campro projectiles at a price that typically beats or matches online retailers. They also have a wide variety of powders such as CFE223 and CFE pistol as well as others that I cannot recall.If you buy a gun here you also get 30 minutes free with a store clerk to teach you either how to use it, or how to clean it. Very useful for beginners. Also their black Friday sale was very good, with 20% most things in the store (I was able to reload 500 rounds of .223 with just stuff from the store for 25 cents a round). Very well done business.No store is perfect however. The downsides are the store front is SMALL. If you have more than 4-5 people in there it gets stuffy. If people are waiting in line for entry at Silverdale or its just busy it can be hard to move around. This doesn't typically slow down customer service but it does make for an awkward time.Additionally the website isn't very accurate on what's in stock. Often Sara will have things in store that aren't on the website making planning out purchases a little hard. It's best to just ask if/when they will get what you want in stock. I believe they can. Custom order if you wish however I haven't used this feature at the time of writing.Lastly in terms of cons, they don't really answer their texts or Google messages in my experience. Email I've had 50/50 luck. Your best off calling them or going in person which can be a pain if you are uncomfortable talking over the phone (especially coupled with the website stock inaccuracies).That being said Staff is very polite. Typically when I go Brad is working there. He's typically quiet but is a very nice fellow always happy to help. Sara is usually cheerful and I've had several interactions with Todd(?), all of which have been good.Really the business is great. You get all the benefits of a mom and pop style shop with the selection of a much bigger store. Their base prices can be hit or miss, but I normal research every purchase to take advantage of their price matching. You do get some of the drawbacks of a small shop but in my opinion the value you get at this store makes it a no brainer.I highly encourage Sara and the rest of lanz shooting supplies to keep up the good work.

Was here today to buy a shotgun was not sure what to get as im a rookie and the guy and girl working there are awesome i must spent about 2 hours of the guys time but i did learn alot and they teach you step by step what to get how to use it and depending on your needs they show you what they have they really takr the time to show and teach you when you are new at this and for that THANK YOU this will be my place to go from now on to use the gun range and any gun needs again THANK YOU for the experience......Albert Pinto (got a MouseBerg 12 gauge shotgun)

Great store, great range. Sara and Jon are great people, very knowledgeable and can order anything in if they don't have it in stock. Everyone there is friendly....I would go out of my way to buy from them as opposed to other gun shops.

Lanz is the my favorite friendly gun shop, since helping me buy my very first pistol or my first AR15 lanz haz become my go to place!!! Always getting better!!

Great place to shoot and have fun. However, way too many potholes, not good on a new vehicles suspension system. Other than that staff and shooters are friendly.

I cant say enough about these guys. When they get to know you you feel like part of the family. Jon and Sara have been great to me. I'm relatively new to the firearms community and they have taught me alot. Jon stripped my AR15 in store and installed custom parts for me in like an hour. If they dont have it. They will try to order it. If it's more elsewhere they will price match. I feel dirty buying things that arent from them.

Best customer service I've had in a long time on august 8.Then i waited until augyst 14. Call has not bin shipped yet. So now i will get the week of August 20 something.

Lanz is by far my favourite shop around, their staff is great and always helpful for anything you could possibly need. They have a good selection of firearms and related supplies. Plus it's located on a range, perfect location!
