spot was good before, then they added Wallace Emerson park stuff and now it feels crowded, missing Wallace like crazy it was better than Christie

Awesome DIY park, the obstacles can be moved around when the skaters feel like it, community maintained and cared for, but usually trashed by kids n pedestrians who are mad that it’s there. Downside is that it’s usually super crowded unless you go in the mornings or late in the evenings.Has an awesome mini quarter pipe, some ledges, a spine, some banks, ramps and boxes that are super awesome for beginner and intermediate skaters to learn basics and progress but still fun for those who are more skilled and creative.

I'm giving this place 5-stars because of the amazing community that maintains and upkeeps this skatepark. That said, it's not the best park in terms of features. It has a bunch of various rails and ledges, banks, quarter pipes, and a pretty gnarly but fun 4' miniramp. Also the whole thing is on a slight angle which isn't awful but a bit amateurish. It's not a destination skatepark like Ash Bridges. The city needs to step up and build a real concrete park on a flat (not slanted) surface here. Downtown has the highest density of skateboarders and quad skaters in the city but zero permanent concrete skate parks. I gladly help fund it each year but it's kind of BS that it needs to be this way.

Wood mini ramp is quite fun. Even if it's a bit tight. But street section suckkkkks. Decaying obstacles not laid out well. Pooling water. Ton of kids.
