Anu is so warm and welcoming, I just love going into her shop. She gives me the same kind of warmth she would a family member. She always does such a great job and is so accommodating. I love supporting local mom and pop shops that are professional with amazing customer service.- Custom Tailoring: Needed some work done on my suit for a wedding. They offered me options, and a quick turn around.- Dry Cleaning: Properly cleaned with no issues. Flexible times for pick up as well as very efficient.

Wonderful experience with Anu. She really know her Bussiness Dropped off 10 shirt for cleaning and 2 blazers to have an alteration, shortened sleeves. and it almost looks like new and they did a great job on the sleeves (pic attached)HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Anu at Save On Dry Cleaning and Alterations at Centrepoint Mall in Vancouver (not to be confused with other locations) is my go-to tailor. She's talented, friendly, and so very KIND (if you read reviews of other tailors on Main Street you will find that a lot of tailors and sewists are extremely mean to people about their clothes and bodies, which is why it seems important to mention that you don't have to deal with that here!).As a plus-sized person, it's hard to buy clothes that fit my body perfectly (and in Vancouver, hard to buy anything in-person that isn't boring basics, period). I order a lot of my clothing online because of how bad plus size shopping is here in-person which means I don't get to try things on until they are in my possesssion. Meeting Anu--an actual seamstress who can do all types of alternations has been a game-changer for the fit of my clothes (and it costs less to alter pieces than to return them, especially to the US when there is no guarantee sizing down will address the fit concern). My clothes are valuable and carefully curated--I invest in quality-made pieces with the intention to wear them until they wear out. Anu has handled alterations of my one-of-kind (read: irreplaceable) pieces from nooworks, WRAY, and Fashion Brand Company and I'm always been pleased with the results and the reasonable price point. She can also usually turn pieces around in a week or less.This past holiday season I hired Anu for a special project: a particularly tricky arm gusset alteration on a one-of-a-kind vintage 60s silk chiffon dress. I knew it was risky to try and alter it at all (and Anu confirmed that) because the garment is old/fragile. Anu did an immaculate job and I was able to wear a dress I couldn't before. It looked incredible onstage (I wore it for a performance--I'm the one with the yellow hair :D). Fully recommend Anu and her family business--she doesn't miss. Especially convenient if you live in Mount Pleasant.

I've recently had to get several clothing altered for a trip to an Indian wedding, and I cannot recommend Anu enough. She altered several pieces to perfection, but the absolute best was a dress I brought to have shortened, taken in, and replace the straps for: it turned out perfect. It is like a brand new dress! I am a total believer in alterations now. Beyond her sewing skills, Anu is also warm, welcoming, and generous, so much so that upon my return from my trip, I popped in just to say hi and tell her about it :) I will be returning for years.

This is the BEST customer service I think I've received anywhere. The owner is lovely and will go above and beyond to help ensure your items are perfect and meet tight deadlines. I was taking off on a international trip and she actually did a door delivery to my place when I was tight on time to pick up my items (not ever expected, but wow). Can't recommend this place more - it's not the closest place to me (by far), but it is the only place I will go!

Highly recommend his business I’ve known for a quite long time by now and just wanted to share my experience with the services I received from her. And was surprised to have a look at some random reviews and I feel it’s not genuine and they are doing it intentionally. But I was always happy with their services :)

Save-On Dry Cleaning is the spot! Anu is always friendly and lighthearted as she takes the time to walk you through the services to fit your need. She is attuned to interpreting hand gestures explaining ‘how’ you want things to fit (helpful!) and adds her own thoughts in the process. A recent visit for suit tailoring turned out better than expected and the cost was fair. Following dry cleaning, Anu took the initiative to deliver a rug to my home (I was on foot); truly appreciated and another example of the care she takes.Thank you.

I have used this business for many years and have even called Anu's private phone number with a dry cleaning emergency! She has done alterations and cleaning for my family, clients, friends and, of course, for me. She is always quick to return my dry cleaning and has very fair pricing. She has always gone the extra mile to be amazing.I have brought her some really tricky mending and alteration jobs and they are always done flawlessly. I can't imagine any other business owner that could give this kind of service and be so consistently friendly and happy.
