I had Venaseal done on both my legs. I am very happy with the results. While the procedure was painful at times it was bare-able and the staff were friendly and made you feel comfortable during it. I am very happy with the results as my legs are smooth again. I did go back for the one free sclerotherapy session. While it did not take the blue colour away completely it significantly decreased it. This procedure took more recovery time than the Venaseal did as it requires you to wear compression stockings for 2 weeks.I live in PEI and had to travel to Moncton to get this done. I was able to apply to PEI’s Out of Province medical services as we are the only province that does not provide this service. I did require a doctors note for it to be covered prior to getting the procedure done. Just google it and you will find the number to contact someone to apply for this prior to going over. It is worth the bit of reimbursement.

When I saw the before photos of my legs, I was completely shocked; I barely recognized them. I had both legs done in September, 2020. The Vena Seal procedure took a little over 2 hours. There was very little pain and I was able to continue most activities that didn't involve squatting. After 2 weeks, I was able to do all activities. I am very pleased with the results!!Dr.Matz and his staff were very friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable . I had a VenaSeal procedure done at the Canada Vein Clinic in Moncton and I am very pleased with the results. The varicose vein in my left leg caused me discomfort and discolouration in my lower leg. The procedure was thoroughly explained to me by Dr. Matz and Laura allaying any fears I may have had. Following the procedure the discolouration in my leg was immediately gone and within a month my leg felt so much better and the large varicose vein was gone. I had been thinking of getting my veins fixed for a few years, and after consulting with my family doctor he told me NS Medicare only covers the archaic procedure of vein stripping. I had no choice but to go private. After much research, I decided to go with Canada Vein Clinic and I cannot recommend Dr. Matz and his team highly enough! They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Leaders in vein procedures. I was not aware how negatively my vericose veins were affecting, but essentially I had been waking around with waterlogged legs. My defective valves were allowing the blood to pool which resulted in swollen, heavy legs and bulging veins. I would get up from sitting and feel dizzy. My legs cramped. I had low energy. I avoided stairs because I would get winded -all of which was associated to having vericose veins. After the procedure my legs felt super light; I felt like I could run a marathon, and they still feel this way 3 months later! The veins themselves have nearly disappeared and will continue to do so over the next few months. I will have a follow-up at the end of March where Dr. Matz will examine my legs and do touch ups if needed, which is just another example of the pride and professionalism he takes in his work. I will come back on here and post my pre and post pictures when I hit my 6 month mark.

My experience with Canada Vein Clinics was nothing but positive.The pre-procedure information and instructions are clear and extensive without being overwhelming.The actual procedure ( I had VenaSeal) produced minimal discomfort.Post-procedure instructions were clear and contact numbers were given to me should I develop any untoward effects.Dr. Matz and his staff are informed, friendly and professional.I am extremely happy with the results. The procedure was not inexpensive, but worth every cent to me!

My husband had terribly large varicose veins. His legs felt tired all the time and he suffered with constant restless legs. The Venaseal procedure was quick, relatively painless, and resulted in quick and complete relief! The pre- and post-procedure care was professional, friendly and instilled comfort and confidence in us both. We highly recommend.

My experience was excellent. The staff is awesome and friendly. They explain everything throughly, my procedure was sclerotherapy using Clarivein and it was simple and i walked out when I was done. I chose this procedure because the procedure in hospital would have took me weeks of recovery, i would have been cut from ankle up to my groin, then stapled back up and hope not to get any infections. by doing it through the vein clinic i was able to avoid all that and am very pleased to say at my check up i even got to see the difference between before and after and it definitely worked.
