Elope in Banff

06/30th- simply shotgun. The day couldn’t have been more perfect and magical! I left all the planning to them, zero stress and could just enjoy! Sharon and Simon were a great team, having everything to hand and knowing where to go for some incredible photos. I will be forever grateful for this, and would highly recommend anyone thinking of eloping to contact Sharon! The cake was delicious too. Also a huge thank you to Twyler, our officiate, her energy and grace made our day complete.

I am speechless about my experience with Elope in Banff. First of all, we were provided a general idea of what we wanted for our wedding. Sharon and her team really made a difference by taking charge of everything. They respected our vision and even better than what we have anticipated.One day prior to the wedding, we were welcomed to Banff by Christianne. In only 2 hours, the paperwork was signed at the registry, flowers confirmed and a thorough discussion on sequence of event for the wedding day. Christianne stayed for the whole duration of the wedding, making sure that everything was at its best. She was responsive and thoughtful.Stephanie was insanely good with makeup and did my hair in a perfect way.Roger did an excellent job to capture our day thru photos.Rob White provided a truly intimate ceremony.It was a stress free experience and we are glad that Sharon and her team did an amazing wedding day for us. Could not recommend enough.

We had our winter elopement last week. Sharon was incredibly organized and prepared, which made our special day stress-free. The hairstylist and makeup artist did a phenomenal job and our flowers were perfect. Malcolm is a very talented photographer and goes the extra mile to ensure he gets the best shots. The EIB team is very experienced and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

Sharon and her team are absolutely super heros. We initially planned our wedding for 2020 but we had to reschedule twice (Covid) and finally got to have our wedding in 2022 . Throughout the 2 year rescheduling period Sharon offered so much support and understanding. When we finally did have our wedding I was amazed by how easy the process was for us. Everything was taken care of for us, we just had to show up and smile. We worked with Chris on our wedding day and she was an angel, she helped with my dress, getting the pictures, dinner reservations and she even brought water for us for the couple hours of pictures we did.

Sharon and our wedding day team were very easy to talk with, very informative, very professional, and very determined to give us the wedding day we dreamed of. Sharon and her team were absolutely amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams! We cannot thank the team enough for making sure our ceremony went as smoothly as possible and for the gorgeous photos from Alpine Peak Photography that captured us and the landscape beautifully. Words can not explain how awesome this was! Due to some changes, our wedding went from 170+ guests a year away to 15 within a month! Sharon was great to work with. She helped all my visions come true. I didnt get to have my big dream wedding but instead I got to have a small beautiful wedding in a beautiful place! There are so many options for your wedding portraits and the tour for that is fun! (even more so if you dont bring your kids haha). The harpist plays so beautifully! The limo was 100% worth it for all of us! I dont have all my photos back yet (still too early) but what i was given already are so great! Bryan captured such great details of our wedding and worked with us to have our ideas come alive. He's a great photographer to work with! If you can, invest in the videographer! I wasnt going to and im SO GLAD I did. I was SO HAPPY with the hair stylist! She 100% brought my vision alive. My hair looked awesome! (I did not use their makeup artist or florist so cant review that part). Doing a elopement package with Elope In Banff is 100% worth it! It's a experience plus a wedding! Everyone had a great time!

Dominik & I got married in April 4th 2023, whilst sitting on the place heading home to the UK I was thinking to myself about how much of a lucky couple we are, to have been wed in beautiful Banff and for it to be planned by Sharon, Photographed by her husband Malcolm and Officiated by Carl. What an incredible trip they are! I first filled in the paperwork on April 21st 2022 and despite the elopement not being for nearly a year Sharon made sure every detail was correct on the form, gave feedback about hotel dates, plans, boutonnières etc. at that point already so we could make any changes necessary, she then continued to to stay in touch ensuring we felt at ease with everything going on and the progress of the bookings. As the date got closer and closer Sharon continued the contact and had everything under control, I barely did anything! The day before the ‘Big Day’ Sharon met us in our hotel lobby and took us around Banff for a few hours, guiding us through 5 different locations where we could have our wedding ceremony such as Vermilion Lakes, Tunnel Mountain Meadow and Bow Falls, all the while giving us historical insights and interesting information not only at the destinations themselves but also along the journey so we had a full ‘experience’, the knowledge Sharon holds when it comes to Banff is truly remarkable, it was our second time in Banff and she informed us of things we had no idea about. During this time at the locations she went through the details of the ceremony, what we would say, the order things would go etc. and we had a mini practice run to feel comfortable and confident. Sharon then helped us with our luggage to move in to the Banff Log Cabin that her and Malcolm own (there is another review for that on of course!), this is when we met Malcolm, who would be our Photographer, he is so fun to be around and has a real enthusiasm for what he does. On the day of our wedding Sharon and Malcolm knocked at the cabin door and had us laughing instantly, taking some snaps before we headed to our chosen location at the Bow Falls where we me the Officiator, Carl, another amazing guy who has such charm and character, he made us feel at ease with the ceremony immediately, added his own unique twist on certain aspects and some little jokes too, we would definitely recommend Carl if he is available. During the entire process Sharon was on hand with her ‘Mary Poppins’ bag full of everything we could possibly require; our ring box, gloves, tissues, paperwork etc., she also acted as coat carrier too, whatever we needed she was on hand ready to provide everything and support us, all the while Malcolm is busy taking pictures, we didn’t even realise he was moving around snapping incredible image after incredible image until such time as the ceremony was complete and it was time to move to more of the ‘photo-shoot, mode. Malcolm is such a pro, the way he guided us to get the best pictures, angle, lighting, backdrop, everything, he’s stretching high, crouching low, getting Sharon to help with different bits and pieces, we felt at ease, there was no pushing us to hurry in to a pose, it was all free-flow and fun. Sharon then drove us to another beautiful location for more pictures in the stunning scenery before kindly offering to drop us off at Banff Gondola so we could head up Sulphur Mountain as a newlywed couple. Sharon booked pre-wedding & wedding dinners for us so we were treated like royalty all the time and congratulated at every location, this attention to detail is spectacular and elevated our entire experience. We couldn’t fault anything at all, from start to finish everything was perfect, we had ZERO wedding day jitters, nothing at all, because we knew we were in such capable hands. Dominik and I are forever grateful to Sharon and Malcolm, they are amazing at what they do, the passion is obvious but above all they are wonderful people who bring you pure joy, you just want to be around them. We’ve made friends forever. If you are looking to get married in Banff, Elope in Banff is THE wedding planning choice.

INCREDIBLE!! There are absolutely not enough words to describe how amazing our elopement in Banff was. Sharon was on top of communication at all times, she took every ounce of stress out of planning our wedding and I can’t thank her enough for that. The day of was so relaxed knowing Sharon, Chris, and Bryan had everything under control. We got up to Moraine Lake for the ceremony and it was pouring rain and the mountains were in the clouds. Chris and Bryan waited so patiently with us for the rain to stop to make sure we got those beautiful mountain views. Bryan absolutely nailed it for photography and Chris was fantastic helping with my dress placement, my hair, and everything else you can think of. I am still in awe of how incredible this experience was and I owe it to everyone Sharon has in her Elope in Banff Crew!

Our experience with the Elope in Banff team was absolutely amazing. They took the stress of the whole day away and made it so easy for us to just relax and enjoy every moment of our special day. Chris was so down to earth and kind and such a great support from when we met her at the registry to the end of our beautiful wedding day. Malcolm was extraordinary at his job, we just got our sneak peek photos back and we are astounded with how they turned out, they are literally amazing and the perfect way to remember such an amazing day.We of course could not have done it without the florists at Banff Mountain Top Flowers, May, our guide on the mountain, the pilot and everyone else that helped us out at the helipad, so a huge thank you to them as well!Thank you Elope in Banff Team!
