Restaurant Vieux Kam-Shing
I was always a big fan of Kam Ching on Cote Neige for Years dating back to 90's. When I found out there's a Kam Shing in Laval I was very excited to find out I'll experience the taste of the 90's. I was a little disappointed. Although still not bad but not the same as the one on Cote Des Neige. The General Tao wasn't as good.

Pretty tasty food, tried the chicken with cashew nuts, fried rice and the salt and pepper shrimps, they were very good. The hot and sour soup could have used a little seasoning but everything else was very tasty, would definitely recommend if you're in the laval area

Really great! I had their yang chow fried rice, general tao, salt and pepper squid. All were really good, portions are gigantic. Service was quick and courteous. This is my go to Chinese restaurant!

took out food today and it was horrible. The general toa chicken was so dry not even mixed in the sauce - felt like KFC. It really is not the same anymore. Not sure whats going on

Literally did not serve us in 30 min. Kept calling them to come take our orders but never came back. Dont come here.

Hard to review. Good place for a family to eat at low price and soft taste. For my part i preferred to have my plate with more taste. But in the same time i may not chose thr speciality. To retry one day.

Exactly as it was when it first opened on Cote Des Neiges 40+ years ago! Food, Staff, owner...all the same and all is as good and cheap as it ever was back in the day, iconic!It's not high end fancy, sexy presentation, it's just tasty, great, cheap American Chinese food that comes to your table fast, fresh and hot! Service as always... very rapid and courteous!

Food was OK, service was OK, atmosphere was OK. This restaurant is only open from afternoon, not open for lunch. Also the prices were quite cheap with large portions! Lots of seating and lots of parking infront and back. There are better places but if you're on a budget, try this place out!

Restaurant Vieux Kam-Shing
I went once in the past with my family, we really enjoyed the food but the service was pretty lacking. We decided to come back today, we had to wait 15 minutes to even get a table (when there were like 3 tables taken) and even then, we had to ask to get seated. We waited at least 30 minutes for someone to take our order until we asked someone, they said “a moment” and did not come back for another 10 minutes so we just left. If you have the patience of a saint and don’t mind waiting an eternity to eat, then the food is great, but they have to fix their customer service for sure, it would lowkey be less time consuming to go to the super market and cook the food yourself.
